Anthony Michael Martinelli was born
on August 29th, 2331 in Napoli, Italia where he spent most of his
childhood. His father, being a commercial freighter Captain, spent
a lot of time away from home so he took his son on many of the runs
between worlds. When Anthony was old enough he joined Starfleet
right away so that he too could be a Captain like his father, and
grandfather before him. He graduated with honors in 2351 and was
given the rank of Ensign and assigned to the USS ANTARES where he served
for 12 years in the Operations Division. Afterwards in 2363,
Anthony was transferred to the USS FARRAGUT when he became a Lieutenant
Commander and was assigned as Executive Officer under Captain Carl
Steinbach. In 2371, Captain Steinbach was killed in action and
Commander Martinelli was promoted to Captain and given command of
FARRAGUT until it's destruction in 2378 during the engagement with the
Cardassian/Dominion Alliance. Later that year, Captain Martinelli
was promoted to Commodore and became one of the Deputy Directors of
Starfleet Operations. In 2381, Commodore Martinelli became aware
of the need for a Chief of Operations on Starbase 34 in the Gamma
Quadrant and made the request for a transfer. The Commodore's
transfer was granted by Admiral
Skyner, as was Anthony's promotion as well. Rear Admiral
Martinelli transferred directly to Starbase 34 and became their Chief of
Operations to date. |
