VAdm Arayuss: I've invited Rear Admiral Martinelli along as well. How does by the Turbo Lift sound?

He waited on Rex's answer as he finalized what he needed to do on the terminal on his desk.

Rex grabbed what few things he needed as he replied to the VAdmiral.

BGen Alderez: Sounds good, see you there. Alderez out.

He took a quick look around his office, then exited and proceeded to wait at the designated Turbo Lift.

Aeryck picked up a few items he wanted to take with him and placed them in a sachel, and slung it over his shoulder. He looked at the chronometer on his desk and started to become impatient.

VAdm Arayuss: C'mon Tony...

As he walked back over to the window, he sighed thinking about the danger his friends were now in.

Rear Admiral Martinelli went through his things that he wanted to bring with him and made sure they were all accounted for and tapped his combadge.

RAdm Martinelli: My apologies, Admiral. I had to make a pitstop in the restroom. I would've got back to you sooner, but I had to wash my hands. I know of a fine restaurant in the Galleria I know you would both enjoy. Where would you like to meet?

He finished getting ready and began walking out of his office as he waited for the VAdmiral's answer.

Quickly, Aeryck responded as soon as he heard RAdmiral Martinelli's voice.

VAdm Arayuss: At the Turbo Lift at the far end of the corridor, you'll see Rex there waiting. I'm on my way now and I'll see you there. Arayuss out.

He took a last look around his office before exiting into the main greeting area and nodding to his receptionist politely and informed her of his plans with RAdmiral Martinelli and BGeneral Alderez. She smiled and acknowledged as she continued her sorting of reports and correspondances. Aeryck smiled in return, and continued to the corridor where he was to meet the others.

Tony heard the urgency in the VAdmiral's voice and quicked his pace. He waved to his receptionist and told her his plans as he walked to the corridor where he planned on meeting them both. When he reached the end of the hall, he turned into the smaller corridor where he saw BGeneral Alderez waiting impatiently. RAdmiral Martinelli half smiled as he saw the BGeneral look up towards him as he walked to the end of the corridor.

RAdm Martinelli: You ready, General?

He continued smiling as he waited on his reply.

Rex pondered the question for a moment, then replied.

BGen Alederez: For a covert mission of this importance? Tony, I was born ready.

He stood there smiling at the Chief of Fleet Operations, knowing full well how excited the RAdmiral was to be going. Rex continued watching the end of the corridor for the Deputy Commander in Chief to arrive.

Aeryck walked to the end of the large greeting hall, and made a quick turn into the adjacent corridor where he saw both Brigadier General Alderez and Rear Admiral Martinelli waiting for him. When he reached the end of the corridor, they both were smiling as they were looking down towards him.

VAdm Arayuss: I see you both made it. Let's get going, our ride is waiting.

He motioned for them to enter the Turbo Lift with him, and as they did Aeryck had a broad smile on his face. When the doors closed he felt the process of transporting begin, and watched the interior of the Turbo Lift they were in become the Bridge of the USS Explorer.

The Admiral looked over the items on his agenda for the day and saw that Commander Marino finally made it to Starbase 34. Marino was the officer who fell victim to identity theft by the man claiming to be the Commander transferring as XO of Whitestar. Aeryck was glad to finally meet the real Commander Louis G. Marino, coming all the way from Fargate Station. The CinC tapped the companel on his desk to call to his receptionist outside his office.

Adm Arayuss: Vicky? Can you have Commander Marino report to my officer as soon as possible. I need to discuss with him the current situation and bring him up to speed as well as clue him in on why I had him transferred over from Fargate Station.

Lt. Goldbeck: Right away, Admiral.

As the Admiral waited on Commander Marino to arrive, he accessed all the information he had been compiling on the Deltaurans.

Cmdr Marino walked by the CinC's receptionist, Lt. Goldbeck and greeted her as he waited to walk into the office of Admiral Arayuss.

Cmdr Marino: Hello Ma'am, I am Commander Louis G. Marino. I am here to meet with Admiral Arayuss.

Lt. Goldbeck: Go right in, Commander. He's expecting you.

The Commander entered the Admiral's office and was surprised at what he saw. Lou thought he was on a hidden camera show to see his reaction to a prank. There was a child seated at the CinC's desk wearing an Admiral's uniform, and when Lou looked closer he noticed the pointed ears of a Vulcan. His blond hair was long and his ears were almost covered as well as his eyebrows. This was damn irregular and Cmdr Marino did not have time for his absurdity.

Cmdr Marino: This is absurd! I demand to speak to Admiral Arayuss immediately! I am Commander Louis G. Marino, Starbase 34's Chief of Security. Remove yourself from the Admiral's desk before I place you under arrest!

Marino stood there proud and tall as he looked at the small child seated behind the desk. This kid was not going to get the best of this member of Starfleet Security, he was certain of that.
