Cole began using the sensors to scan Oriskany when he received an incoming message from the vessel. He immediately put it on speakers so Capt Adonis could hear what was being said.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Captain, I've got a message coming through from Oriskany now.

Capt Reich: Captain Adonis, this is Captain Reich of the Oriskany. There have been a series of events since we entered orbit, which left Captain Harris dead. I have been given command of Oriskany, and I recommend that you evacuate your ship if there is one of those creatures loose. There will be bad, bad things if you don't. I promise, it's not a pretty situation. Infiniti is on their way with a weapon that should take care of these things. If you have any other questions, I'm sure my First Officer will be able to help you out.

The Ops Officer looked towards the Captain with a surprised expression on his face. This was certainly not the news they were expecting. Cole waited on Capt Adonis to either react or respond to Capt Reich's message.

Treasar was stunned at first when he heard the message from Capt Reich. What the hell happened over there!?! screamed through his mind.

Capt Adonis: Mr. Mitchell, send this message back...This is Captain Adonis, what happened over there? What creatures are you talking about? How did they get aboard your ship?

The CO was getting rather upset by the lack of communication he was receiving from Oriskany's Commanding Officer. However, Treasar was not about to ignore the warning. He immediately turned towards his XO.

Capt Adonis: Contact the Wild Cards, have them return from their patrol and secure the area around Oriskany's Shuttles and Escape Pods. Put the ship on Intruder Alert and have all teams report anything suspicious, and have all non-essential personnel prepare to evacuate.

The Captain stood there on the Bridge, gazing at the Main Viewer that now showed Oriskany and the many Escape Pods and Shuttles in an area off the starboard bow of their abandoned vessel. All Treasar could think about was What the hell went wrong over there!?!

Cole did as the Capt Adonis ordered and sent the message directly to the Captain's Yacht which launched from Oriskany. The Lieutenant was pleased to see that a reply was coming through to them and put it on audio for the CO to hear.

Lt. Commander Kee: Captain Adonis, this is Lieutenant Commander Kee. Captain Reich is currently taking a shower, so I'll answer those questions for you. The creatures have a way of transferring offspring into the body of anyone they come in contact with. After a short time the person swells up and bursts open with one of those creatures ready to attack. Phasers are useless on them and they go around grabbing whoever they can to make more of themselves. The first one came aboard inside our Chief Engineer. He was found unconscious and taken to Sickbay. Next thing we knew we had an Intruder, and from there things only got worse. Captain Harris was killed and so were several others I've heard. Captain Reich gave the order to abandon ship so that nobody else would become a fleshpod for those damned things. The Captain has been speaking directly with Admiral Arayuss and was told that Infiniti will be coming out here with weapons that can destroy them. So now we're just going to wait till they arrive. If you have any members of your Away Team that returned unconscious, I suggest you get rid of them immediately. They're already dead.

Lt. JG Mitchell was amazed at what he heard, and from what he can see on the faces on the officers around the Bridge...they were just as surprised as Cole was. The Lieutenant waited on Capt Adonis for any orders or reply he had for LtCmdr Kee.

Treasar was stunned when he heard that Capt Reich was taking a shower. It blew his mind that a CO would take a break from an emergency situation like this in order to bathe himself. It also occured to the Captain that Lt. Postema returned from Nostromo unconscious!

Capt Adonis: Bridge to Sickbay! Dr. Brewer, what's the status on Lieutenant Postema? I need a report immediately!

The CO waited on a response from the ship's Doctor. If there was no reason for the Lieutenant to be unconscious, there was no way Treasar was going to risk an Intruder coming out of Lt. Postema and invade Whitestar.

Sickbay - Deck 6

Dr. Brewer, realizing the urgency in getting a report back to Capt Adonis, hit his Combadge.

Lt. Commander Brewer: Dr. Brewer to Captain Adonis! Captain, judging from the physical condition of Lt. Postema and from our exam and diagnostics of him, it is my opinion that we can already declare him a dead man. From what we know of the Deltaurans and their method of propagating I advise having the Lieutenants body evacuated from the Whitestar immediately or we could have utter disaster on board. I hope you give the order for this right away as every minute counts.

The Doctor stood by in case Capt. Adonis had any more questions regarding Brian.

Treasar immediately knew what he had to do and stood from his chair and walked over to the Ops Station and gave Lt. JG Mitchell an order the CO knew he'd never forget.

Capt Adonis: Mr. Mitchell, lock onto Postema's body in Sickbay and beam him off the ship, right now!

The Captain knew it was going to be a difficult task for Cole to perform, but it had to be done in order to save the lives of the people in Sickbay, along with the lives of everybody else aboard Whitestar.

Cole was stunned by what Capt Adonis told him to do. But it was an order and he had to follow it to the letter. The Lieutenant used the internal sensors to scan for Lt. Postema's body in Sickbay, but he couldn't detect it.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Captain? I can't lock on Postema! It's like he's not even there! That's impossible, how can this be?

The Lieutenant was almost on the verge of completely panicking there at the Ops Station. He continued making attempts to try and lock onto Lt. Postema so he could be transported off Whitestar, without success.

Chase moved to the Ops console and attempted to assist Lt. JG Mitchell lock onto Lt. Postema's body in Sickbay, but according to their internal sensors, Brian's body wasn't there.

Cmdr Ashborn: Captain, Postema isn't even showing up on our internal sensors! I can't even lock onto his Combadge! We need to get him off this ship, Sir! We got to do it now!

The XO frantically looked to the Captain for a suggestion, before he saw Ens Katang run from her post at the Tac/Sec Station into the Turbolift. Chase knew that by Sara having Klingon within her, she was about to do the honorable act of saving the ship from the arrival of an Intruder.

Sickbay - Deck 6

Jacques stood back in horror as Lt. Postema's body began swelling into a grotesque oval shape. Never in his life had he ever seen such a horrible thing occur to a person.

Ens Tudismaque: Doctor! What do we do?

The Ensign was positively terrified at what was happening in front of his eyes. An acrid smell filled Sickbay as the flesh ripped open from Brian's abdomin and a ghosltly white creature emerged from inside the Lieutenant.

Ens Tudismaque : OH SHIT!

Jacques screamed as he ran towards Dr. Brewer, grabbing him by the labcoat and pulling him out of Sickbay into the corridor.

Ens Tudismaque: Computer, erect a Level 10 Force Field around Sickbay! Tudismaque to Bridge! INTRUDER ALERT!!!

The Assistant Medical Officer stood beside Dr. Brewer in the corridor outside Sickbay and waited on the Security Teams to arrive. Jacques hoped they brought everything they could to rid Whitestar of their newly arrived uninvited guest.

Bridge - Deck 1

Treasar's blood ran cold when he heard Ens Tudismaque's message. His mind blanked out for a few moments as he remembered one of the songs he enjoyed back in his days at the Academy. It was made by a band that was extremely popular in the mid 20th century. They called themselves The Beatles and their song was called "HELP!"

Capt Adonis: Damn! Bridge to all Decks, Intruder Alert! Evacuate Deck 6 immediately! If anyone is found unconscious they're to be isolated at once!

The Captain turned to Cmdr Ashborn.

Capt Adonis: We've already lost Brian, we're not going to lose anymore Commander. If necessary we'll evacuate Whitestar completely! Make sure the Wild Cards are out there protecting the parameter!

Treasar went into his Ready Room and calmly sat behind his desk before slamming his head down into it repeatedly. He couldn't believe this was happening to his ship. If Oriskany had to abandon ship over this same situation, it was becoming obvious that Whitestar would have to follow suit.
