Bridge - Deck 1

Cole was looking around nervously, not knowing what to do. He was relieved to see an incoming message from Infiniti announcing they were on the way to their location with weapons capable of stopping the Intruders.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Captain, we just recieved a message from Infiniti! They're en route to our location at emergency speed and bringing weapons that can stop the Intruders from taking over the ship! Admiral Arayuss and General Alderez are accompanying them as well.

The young Lietenant breathed a sigh of relief after he announced the news to the Bridge crew. Finally something in their favor was happening! Cole was starting to believe they only had one kind of luck, bad.

Chase did as the CO commanded and sent a message to the squadron of Starfighters that were out patrolling the area.

Cmdr Ashborn: Whitestar to Wildcards, begin patrol of the parameter! We may have to evacuate the ship! Stay on Condition: Alert!

The XO turned to the Captain, hoping to relieve some of the stress his CO was experiencing.

Cmdr Ashborn: With Infiniti on the way, help will be here soon, Captain. Not to worry, they're on a fast shp and they'll be here in no time at all.

The Commander looked around at the officers on the Bridge and could see the anxiety in all of their faces. Chase really hoped Infiniti would arrive soon so that this problem could be erradicated.

Cole really hoped Infiniti would be arriving soon. The thought of waiting for them inside an Escape Pod wasn't very inviting to the Lieutenant. As soon as the communication from Capt Reich came in, he alerted Capt Adonis.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Captain, message from Captain Reich coming in.

Capt Reich: Captain Adonis, this is Captain Reich. I was just checking in with you to see how things are going. If those things got loose, there is a way to track them on sensors, but it's not worth staying on the ship to do. I'm going to let Admiral Arayuss know the situation aboard Oriskany, and it's not very pretty over there. It's your ship, but I do recommend that you evacuate it, and then me, you and Admiral Arayuss can sit down and talk about the next plan of attack when they get here....which shouldn't be too long from now.

The Ops Officer waited on Capt Adonis to respond so he kept his console ready to transmit the message back to Oriskany's CO. Cole wanted Infiniti to arrive even faster now that he heard Capt Reich's message.

Treasar thought about what he heard in Capt Reich's message and a few moments later made his decision. It was safer for the crew if they abandoned ship at this time. The CO tapped the companel on his chair and addressed the entire crew of Whitestar.

Capt Adonis: This is the Captain. Due to the unique situation we're facing with the hostile Intruder aboard our vessel, I'm ordering all hands to abandon ship. Repeat, abandon ship.

The Captain looked towards his XO and addressed him after he closed the ship's companel.

Capt Adonis: Mr. Mitchell, acknowledge the message from Captain Reich. Mr. Ashborn, make sure everyone is off the ship before leaving yourself. I will be in my Ready Room. Contact me once you and everyone else is off Whitestar. I'll give you further instructions then.

Treasar calmly exited the Bridge and entered his Ready Room where he began working on his log entry for this situation they were in. He was not happy ordering the crew to abandon the ship, must their lives come first in a situation like this, and as Capt Reich pointed out, this was the only course of action they could take at this time.

Chase watched as the Captain exited the Bridge before turning to the other officers at their stations. The XO knew that time was of the essence and delays would result in lives lost.

Cmdr Ashborn: Alright, listen up. Mr. Thomas, make sure you set the ship on Station Keeping so she doesn't drift, then secure your console and get down to the Shuttlebay and wait for my arrival. Mr. Skonch, I want you to assist anybody who needs any special attention with evacuating the ship. Mr. Mitchell, after acknowledging Captain Reich, I want you to send a status report to Infiniti and let them know we're abandoning ship. Afterwards secure your station and get outta here. Help anyone that needs it and get everybody off Whitestar. Dylan, secure a Shuttle with a Transporter cause we'll need it to beam the Captain off once we let him know that everyone else is safely off the ship. Let's get going!

The Commander looked around the Bridge and watched as the officers did what they were instructed to do. Chase appreciated their efficiency and professionalism in taking care of their duties in an expeditious manner.

Dylan did exactly as Cmdr Ashborn instructed him to do. He set the ship's thrusters on automatic station keeping to prevent Whitestar from drifting anywhere. Then secured his console so that nobody could alter the settings while the Lieutenant was away.

Lt. JG Thomas: Aye, Sir! It's done. I'll see you down in the Shuttlebay. Please don't take too long, Commander. I won't leave without you.

The Lieutenant quickly left the Bridge and proceeded to the Shuttlebay as fast as he could, making sure to assist anyone to an Escape Pod along the way. As soon as Dylan arrived in the Shuttlebay, he secured a Class 9 Shuttlecraft so that they had the option of using it's Transporter if needed.

Cole did as the XO ordered and sent an acknowledgement to Capt Reich aboard Oriskany's Yacht followed by a status report to Infiniti.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Aye Sir.

Once the Lieutenant secured the Ops Station, he made his way to the Shuttlebay where Cole joined Lt. JG Thomas as they waited for Cmdr Ashborn to arrive.

Skonch did exactly as he was ordered to and helped others to the Escape Pods. Making sure the crew was safely out of harm's way, and safe from Deltauran exposure. The Science Officer made it to the Shuttlebay and saw Lt. JG Mitchell with Lt. JG Thomas waiting in a Shuttlecraft. LtCmdr Skonch presumed they were waiting for Cmdr Ashborn to arrive.

Lt. Commander Skonch: Commander Ashborn will be along shortly, Lieutenants.

With his typical Vulcan mannerism Skonch entered the Shuttle and took a seat to wait along with the others for their XO to present himself. It appeared to him that Lt. JG Thomas had the Shuttle all ready for flight, as soon as Cmdr Ashborn arrived they would be launching from Whitestar.

Chase watched as the Bridge stations were secured by the officers attending them, and then abandoned after they all exited. The XO was now on the Bridge alone. Using the console by the CO's seat, Cmdr Ashborn made sure the Shuttles and Escape Pods were launched before leaving the Bridge himself. Quickly moving through the corridors to the Shuttlebay, Chase arrived and immediately noticed the remaining Shuttle sitting there alone on the Flight Deck. The XO expected to see Lt. JG Thomas waiting inside, but was surprised to see that LtCmdr Skonch and Lt. JG Mitchell were there as well.

Cmdr Ashborn: Well what do you know! Looks like we're heading out on a roadtrip boys! Mr. Thomas, get us out of here. Now. As soon as Captain Adonis is ready, we'll beam him directly inside with us.

The Commander took the seat next to Lt. JG Thomas in the cockpit of the Shuttle and awaited on their immediate departure. Chase knew he'd feel a lot calmer once they were out of this situation. He hoped Infiniti would be arriving soon. The XO also wished that the Captain was already aboard the Shuttle with them. Why Capt Adonis decided to remain behind until everyone else was off Whitestar was a mystery to him.

Dylan secured the rear hatch of the Shuttle from the console he was seated at and began lifting off from Whitestar's Shuttlebay. He maneuvered the Shuttle out of the already open doors and into the vastness of space.

Lt JG Thomas: We're out in the clear Gents. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. Now all we have to do is let the Cappy know we're ready to beam him aboard. Would you like to do the honors, Commander?

The Lieutenant happily glided the Shuttle to the location of the Escape Pods and Shuttles that were at a safe distance from Whitestar. Dylan felt a lot better now that they were away from those ghastly creatures.
