The young Ensign was surprised by Lt. D'Shoua's promotion, and couldn't be any happier for him. He knew Jared was a good officer and one that Jayden admired. DeGrazzio shook the senses back into his head and responded to the Admiral's question.

Ens DeGrazzio: General Alderez has cleaned out Oriskany and they're on their way back to the ISSCV and they're expected to be heading over to Whitestar so they can clean the Deltaurans out of it, Sir.

Jayden sent a message to MGen Alderez letting him know they cleaned out Oriskany completely and they were clear to head to Whitestar and engage the Deltaurans aboard and obliterate them, per Adm Arayuss' orders.

The Admiral was pleased with the information he received from Ens DeGrazzio, which was obvious from the grin he gave the young Ensign. Now it was time for all of Oriskany's surviving officers and crew to return to their vessel and start on the many needed repairs before they disembarked through a gateway of their own to begin the assault on the Deltaurans.

Adm Arayuss: Admiral Arayuss to all officers and crew of USS Oriskany. Your vessel has been irradicated of all Intruders. You may begin your return and start repairs immediately, for soon it will be time to reek havoc upon them for a change. The sooner we are all ready, the sooner we can put an end to the Deltauran threat in the galaxy.

Aeryck looked over towards Como Carpathia to see if he had anything to add to the shipwide announcement that was just made. Even if it was just to the officers there on the Bridge of Infiniti. The Admiral walked over towards the Ops Station and addressed him as follows.

Adm Arayuss: Lieutenant, open subspace channel 98.7 and send our coordinates with the following message immediately. 'I need you.'

The CinC waited on confirmation from Lt. Trylon, who was manning the Ops Station. That was the subspace channel monitored by USS Explorer, the vessel the Admiral returned from the Andromeda Galaxy with after disappearing into a vortex that lead them into a subdimensional fissure.

William did as the Admiral asked, will the quickest possible speed he could muster. The last thing he wanted to do, was displease Adm Arayuss.

Lt. Trylon: Aye, Sir. Message sent.

The Lieutenant wondered who Adm Arayuss was sending the odd message to. William never heard of anyone using the subspace frequency 98.7 before. The message itself was even stranger than the use of the odd frequency it was sent on.

The Commodore was quite proud of Lt. D'Shoua and truly felt the promotion was well deserved, he smiled at Jared as walked over to his chair and took a seat beside his trusty XO, Cmdr Calzada. E.J. had a new task to assign and knew nobody better for the task. He turned towards his First Officer.

Como Carpathia: As the crew of Oriskany departs, make sure Mr. Little finds his way over there, they're going to need him. Also, this will allow for more of Whitestar's crew to relax here, be sure to follow up on that.

E.J. used the center console to keep an eye on the departing members of Oriskany's crew. They had the option of flying back in Shuttles, Escape Pods, or using Infiniti's Transporters. It wouldn't be long before they were all back aboard their vessel.

The XO stood up from his seat on the Bridge and smiled to the Commodore as he made for the Turbolift.

Cmdr Calzada: You got it, Commodore.

With that, David entered the Turbolift and went straight to Engineering where he was sure to find LtCmdr Little.

When James heard the announcement that it was time to return to Oriskany, he heart jumped with excitement. He quickly tapped his Combadge to let Capt Reich know of his intentions.

Cmdr Kee: Commander Kee to Captain Reich. I'm heading for a Transporter Room so I can beam over to Oriskany right away and prepare for your arrival. I'll see you over there, Captain.

The XO of Oriskany kept true to his word and went looking for the closest Transporter Room he could find. It didn't take him long to do and James informed the crewman behind the console that he was heading back to Oriskany.

Michael sniped Alexander for an infinite amount of times before he heard the call to return to Oriskany. That meant there was work to do and he was needed.

Lt. Boffi: Hey Alexander, I have to go back to Oriskany now. I'll see you around, okay?

The Lieutenant felt bad about leaving the kid behind, but duty calls and his first duty was to Oriskany and he had to get back over there fast. Realizing that the Captain's Yacht was still sitting out in space between Infiniti and Oriskany, he decided it would be best to park it back where it belonged. Michaelangelo tapped his Combadge and informed the Yacht's computer to beam him back over. Once there he would return the shuttle to the bottom portion of Oriskany's saucer section.

William continued monitoring all of his console and displays when an odd message came through on the subspace channel the Admiral sent his message his on. The Lieutenant announced it to Adm Arayuss in hopes of understanding what it meant.

Lt. Trylon: Admiral, I just received a message on the frequency you sent your message out on. The message simply reads, "I'm already here."

He was still extremely puzzled by what was going on around him. William didn't see anybody here nor did sensors detect the arrival of another vessel in the vacinity. This was making Mr. Trylon very curious, to say the least.

The Admiral looked quite pleased as he turned to Lt. Trylon at the Ops Station at the rear of the Bridge. The message meant that Explorer was out there with them, so they were no longer on their own.

Adm Arayuss: Excellent, Mr. Trylon. Put me on that channel directly.

He waited as the Lieutenant complied, then spoke directly to his vessel.

Adm Arayuss: I'm glad you're here. Disengage the TDD and become visable so we all know that you're with us.

Right after the Admiral spoke, the USS Explorer appeared alongside Infiniti. There were now two Intrepid Class vessels out there with Oriskany and Whitestar. Their chances of success just increased tremendously. That was a factor Aeryck knew would please everyone in the fleet that was sitting there in Sector Epsilon with the abandoned vessels the Deltaurans stole the lives of everyone aboard.

Wandering within Infiniti's Interior  Reply with quote

Sean was walking the corridors while trying to comprehend everything that was going on with his ship, his crew. There was nothing that was going to stop him from completing this mission, and getting those damned things off his ship, even if it meant that he had to go and destroy the ship.

The CO was looking forward to having it back soon, free of those aliens that killed his Captain, his mentor, his friend. He couldn't feel anything but regret for how he couldn't save her, and how the ship ended up in the situation that it was in now.

He didn't know what else to do now, so he headed towards his quarters aboard Infiniti, hoping to try to get a decent nights sleep....when all he wanted to do was cry over the losses that he has suffered and dealt with....

But that is not something that Sean wanted his crew people to see....
