Holodeck 2 - Deck 6

Dr. Jovic figured she better get herself back over to Oriskany, but wasn't quite sure what to do with the survivor that was left in her care here in the Holodeck. Dragana got up from where she was sitting and ended the program that Lt. Boffi left running when he exited the Holodeck.

Lt. Commander Jovic: Computer, end program.

The artificial surrounding disappeared and Alexander was left standing in the middle of the room with no weapon is his hands. It was obvious that he boy was disappointed, but game time was over and they needed to leave the Holodeck to find out what was to become of him.

Lt. Commander Jovic: Computer, where is Captain Reich?

Infiniti-Com: Captain Reich is in his temporary quarters on Deck 3.

Lt. Commander Jovic: Thank you.

Together they left the Holodeck and entered a Turbolift and proceeded to Deck 3 and found the room that was assigned to Capt Reich as he rested aboard Infiniti. Dragana was close enough to the Captain not to have to use the door chime, so she just entered with the boy in tow. Capt Reich was asleep on the bed, so Dr. Jovic walked in and sat at the foot of the bed and gestured for Alexander to take a seat by the windows.

Lt. Commander Jovic: Sean? We should be heading over to our ship now, most of the crew has already left Infiniti and we don't want to be the last ones over there.

As she waited on Capt Reich to fully awake and respond to what he had just been told, Dragana looked out the windows at their vessel and the Shuttles and Escape Pods that were heading back to Oriskany. It wouldn't be long before they would all be back and repairs would be underway.

Captain Reich's Quarters - Deck 3

Sean stirred a little when he heard the Doctor say his name. He rubbed his eyes a little, and stretched before he fully comprehended what the Doc had just said.

Capt Reich: What? Oh, right. We should be getting back, shouldn't we. This war isn't going to win itself.

The CO swung his feet over the bed and put his shoes on. He saw that Alexander was in tow, and Sean didn't know what he was going to do with him back on Oriskany, or more importantly in the Delturan Realm.

Capt Reich: Is there any plan for the kid? I don't know what we can do with him over on Oriskany unless you want to take responsibility for him while we're doing this.

After he got his shoes on, he stood up, and headed for the door.

Capt Reich: Coming, Doc?

Sean stood there waiting for the Doctor and Alexander to join him in exiting his temporary quarters aboard Infiniti.

The Doctor nodded and spoke while she exited Capt Reich's quarters behind him, with Alexander following.

Lt. Commander Jovic: I do not think it would be safe for Alexander aboard Oriskany. Perhaps we should speak to the Commodore about leaving the child here on Infiniti?

Dragana followed her Captain down the corridor, to whatever destination he had in mind.

Deck 3

Alexander had been very quiet since Dr. Jovic ended his game on the Holodeck. He was having a good time with Lt. Boffi and it helped ease the pain of losing his friends and family aboard the Mariposa. But now he made a new friend with Michaelangelo and he didn't want to get left behind aboard Infiniti with people he didn't know.

Alex Windsor: I don't want to stay here! I want to go back with you! Lieutenant Boffi is my friend and I want to be where he is!

The boy refused to walk any further with them until this had been settled. He was not going to follow them to the Bridge, or wherever else they were heading off to if it meant he was going to be left behind.

Sean sighed a little then thought about it.

Capt Reich: Bring him along. We'll find somewhere to keep him safe while he's on the ship. But you are right, we should get back. I'm sure Mr. Kee is wondering where I am, and probably pulling his hair out trying to coordinate everything.

The Captain laid a little kiss on the Doc's cheek as they were walking out. Sean knew that everything was going to be okay now that he got his ship back in almost one piece. He then tapped his Combadge.

Capt Reich: Mr. Kee, I'm on my way back over with Dr. Jovic and Mr. Windsor. Could you please have Mr. Boffi meet us in the Transporter Room? I have a special assignment for him upon my arrival.

With that, he turned and walked down the corridor, staying a couple paces behind was the Doc and Alexander.

Dragana walked beside Alexander as they followed Capt Reich to Infiniti's Transporter Room. It was obvious to her the child was quite pleased to be returning aboard Oriskany with them.

Lt. Commander Jovic: I am sure Lieutenant Boffi will be pleased to see you, but understand that he has duties to perform and you cannot be allowed to hinder him.

The Doctor kept her eyes straight ahead, at Sean's back. She could tell he was walking with less weight on his shoulders. Earlier, he was so stressed out she wondered if he would be able to remain in command. But the CO pulled through, plus now they've got a mission ahead of them and it gave him something to focus on.

Transporter Room - Deck 3

The young boy looked up at Dr. Jovic and smiled as he responded to her. Alex really liked the Doctor as well as Capt Reich, he thought of them as people he wanted to be around. But the friendship he had with Lt. Boffi came from the large amount of fun they shared in the Holodeck.

Alex Windsor: Don't worry, Doctor. I won't get in his way or tease him about his hairy feet. I know he's gotta work now, playtime is over .

Together they entered the Transporter Room and waited for their turn to beam over to Oriskany. There were other members of the crew that were already there, heading back to the ship since the Deltaurans were all gone. As they continued to wait, Alex rocked back and forth on his heels and toes.

Sean looked around at the other crew members waiting to beam back to the Oriskany as he stood there next to Dragana and Alexander. He smiled at the Doc, then looked down at Alexander.

Capt Reich: Mr. Windsor, when we get back, we'll have to set you up with some quarters; however, in the meantime, you're more than welcome to stay in my quarters. Everything that you need will be easily accessable to you, and you shouldn't have any problems.

The CO then looked at the Doc, and gave her a little half smile. He was trying to be a good person in this situation, but he didn't know how things were going to end after the fight with the Deltaurans.

Alexander looked up at Capt Reich and smiled at the proposition he made. It sure was kind of the Captain to offer his quarters as a place to stay till other arrangements could be made.

Alex Windsor: Thank you, Captain. I really appreciate you allowing me to stay aboard Oriskany with all of you. I'll make sure you never regret it.

He looked over at Dr. Jovic and displayed a wide grin to show how pleased he was to be going with them. Alexander heard Capt Reich say Energize and the Transporter Room of Infiniti dematerialized around them.

Engineering - Deck 11

The Yeoman entered Engineering and looked around for LtCmdr Little, to let him know that his time aboard Infiniti was now at an end. He was to report to Oriskany and take on his assigned duties as Chief Engineer.

Lt. JG Panettiere: Commander Little? It's time for you to depart for Oriskany. They're in need of your skills and expertise. It's been a pleasure to have you aboard Infiniti. I'm here to escort you to the Transporter Room after you collected your belongings.

Jansen waited on the Chief Engineer to follow him to the quarters he was using while aboard to collect his things and then procede to the Transporter Room so he can take on the position he was assigned aboard Oriskany.
