The Doctor entered the Banquet Hall and spotted the Whitestar senior officers seated at a table with a pale blue Aenarian. Judging by the look of her uniform when he approached the table, Sonny could tell she was a Captain. Most logically, she would be their new Commanding Officer assigned to replace Capt Adonis. Dr. Brewer greeted everyone at the table with a warm smile.

Lt. Commander Brewer: Hello everyone, I’m pleased to be here tonight and see all of you here as well.

He then introduced himself to the Captain.

Lt. Commander Brewer: Hello Captain, I am Doctor Sonny Brewer, Chief Medical Officer. I look forward to serving with you aboard Whitestar, when it’s finished being repaired of course.

The Doctor saw the champagne on the table and helped himself to a glass. He heard of Chȃteau Picard but never had any of it before so he was looking forward to the unique taste of this fine vintage. Sonny took a small sip at first and absolutely loved the flavor, so he took a larger sip before he sat down with the others. Their waiter returned with the drinks Cmdr Ashborn and Mr. Skonch ordered and placed them directly in front of them. Now they just had to wait on a few others to show up before the whole Senior Staff was in attendance.

Kunti walked in through the Banquet Hall's main doors and went through the crowd of officers and enlisted personnel to get to the Whitestar's table for the Senior Staff. Upon her arrival she saw a new face, one she never saw before, in a Captain's dress uniform. It wasn't a far leap to guess that she was the new CO to replace the one they lost in Sector Epsilon. Being the ship's Counselor, she had many people to comfort over the loss. Kunti smiled at the Captain, XO, Chief Engineer and Dr. Brewer as she took her seat among them.

Lt. Ho: Greetings everybody!

The Lieutenant looked at the Captain and continued.

Lt. Ho: I'm Lieutenant Kunti Ho, ship's Counselor at your service.

With a smile on her face she happily helped herself to a glass of champagne an filled the glass to the rim with the golden bubbly liquid. She took a sip and commented on how much she enjoyed it.

Lt. Ho: Mmmm, that's good stuff!

The Counselor quickly finished her first glass and poured herself another. She really had a love for all champagnes, regardless of who made them or what year they were bottled. To Kunti, it was like a magic carpet ride to a place where she was a happy girl looking for a fun time with her friends.

Dylan walked in smiling to everyone he saw, he was thrilled to be there and not in a situation where the fate of the galaxy was riding on their actions. Here is where he could relax with his shipmates and have a drink in honor of Capt Adonis. The Lieutenant JG found his table and approached it, noticing an Aenarian in a Captain's dress uniform. This must be their new CO! Dylan thought she was stunningly beautiful and got a grip on himself not to reveal his enamored feelings towards the Captain.

Lt. JG Thomas: Hey guys! Hello Captain, I'm Lieutenant Junior Grade Dylan Thomas, Chief Flight Control Officer. I'm your pilot when you wish to fly the friendly skies, I'll take you anywhere you need to go!

The Lieutenant JG looked around at the table and saw the others with drinks in their hands, as well as noticing the champagne bottle on the table from Chȃteau Picard. Dylan quickly grabbed an empty glass and poured himself some of the champagne with an ear to ear grin on his face. He knew, very well, of this vintage and always wanted to try it but coming across a bottle from 2387 was extremely hard to come by. Whomever procured this for tonight's festivities sure had either a lot of Gold Pressed Latinum or a lot of clout in Starfleet. Perhaps both...

Walking into the Banquet Hall with the rest of his Marine pilots, he greeted the other members of Whitestar's officers and crew. He walked over to the table where the 58th Squadron would be sitting and patted MCapt Vansen on her shoulder.

Lt. Colonel Carrera: Take care of our team, Mama-Bear. I'll be over at the Senior Staff table.

The Detachment Wing Commander smiled at his squadron of SA-43X pilots, then turned for the table where the department heads would be sitting. He could see they were already drinking, hopefully not too much since he heard from others that no synthehol was being served at tonight's celebration. Arriving at the table, Rafo saw the new Aenarian Captain seated at the table. He greeted her first with an introduction of himself.

Lt. Colonel Carrera: Good evening, Captain. I'm Lieutenant Colonel Rafael Carrera, Detachment Wing Commander of the 58th Squadron.

Smiling at the XO, Mr. Skonch, Chief Engineer, Dr. Brewer, Counselor Ho and Lt. JG Thomas, he greeted them all as well.

Lt. Colonel Carrera: Evening everyone.

Rafo took a seat and grabbed a champagne glass and filled it halfway for himself. He did not want to become intoxicated since it would be conduct unbecoming of a SFMC officer. That was something he really hoped his Squadron remembered as well when he saw a bottle of champagne delivered to their table. LtCol Carrera took a small sip and it tasted rather good, but he maintained his self control and only drank in very small amounts.

Cole came in through the large Banquet Hall entryway and made his way to the table where Whitestar's Command Staff was seated. He saw the new Captain sitting with Cmdr Ashborn, LtCol Carrera, Mr. Skonch, LtCmdr Cypher, Dr. Brewer, Counselor Ho and his buddy, Lt. JG Thomas. The Lieutenant JG greeted the new Captain and everyone else seated there.

Lt. JG Mitchell: Hello Captain, I'm Lieutenant Junior Grade Cole Mitchell, Chief Operations Officer of Whitestar. It's a pleasure to meet you. Hi everyone, good to see you all here.

The Chief Ops Officer took his seat beside Lt. JG Thomas and got a glass of champagne for himself. Cole had tasted Chȃteau Picard 2387 before when he graduated Starfleet Academy so he knew of it's fabulous taste. He drank a little and looked around to see if they were missing anybody else. There was still an empty chair, so it had to be for their Chief Sec/Tac Officer whom they had yet to meet.

Kyle walked into the celebration area filled with excitement! This would be the first time meeting the crew he was going to work with aboard Whitestar. He had been waiting on SB34 for the ship to return from it's mission in Sector Epsilon for what seemed like forever! The Lieutenant heard about the death of Capt Adonis, and that saddened him when he heard the news. But, walking over to the Senior Staff table he saw the positively gorgeous new Commanding Officer! She was an Aenarian, how interesting! He couldn't wait to meet her. As Kyle arrived at the table he could feel all the eyes of everyone seated look over towards him.

Lt. Wolf: Greetings to you all, I am Lieutenant Kyle Wolf, your new Chief of Security and Tactical Officer. I look forward to serving with all of you and getting to know everyone. I know the ship will take time to repair, so perhaps we can work on other projects together in the mean time.

The Lieutenant looked towards the Vulcan as he continued...

Lt. Wolf: It would be the logical thing to do.

Kyle hoped the Vulcan officer at the table would agree with him. He took a seat and helped himself to a pitcher of water that was brought over just before Kyle arrived and poured himself a glass. He wasn't into drinking alcohol so this would make him the designated sober Human at the table tonight.

The Captain raised her shot glass and spoke to all of those who introduced themselves to her when they arrived at the table and took a seat before getting themselves something to drink. Pi'Lar wanted them to know she was pleased they all arrived before the ceremony started, even their newest addition to the Bridge crew.

Capt Zh'Osha: Thank you all for arriving on time, it pleases me to know I've got a punctual Senior Staff aboard Whitestar. I am Captain Pi'Lar Zh'Osha, I transferred over here on the ship Fleet Admiral Skyner arrived on. When Rear Admiral Martinelli contacted Starfleet Command regarding Captain Adonis being killed, I was aboard Deep Space Nine awaiting a new assignment...so here I am.

The CO took a shot of her Andorian Ale and she nodded to them all, indicating they could feel free to either ask any other questions or talk among themselves before the ceremony began. Pi'Lar looked over at Infiniti's and Oriskany's tables and saw a few empty chairs there so that really impressed her that her whole Command Staff was already here and accounted for.

Dr. Sarrlak entered the Banquet Hall in his usual stoic manner and found Infiniti's Senior Staff table quite quickly, since it was logically located at the front between Oriskany and Whitestar's tables. Off to the side was the Administrative Officers' table where he could see RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez seated along with a Captain he was not aware of yet. The Doctor greeted everyone at Infiniti's table when he arrived and quickly took his seat.

Lt. Commander Sarrlak: Good evening to all.

Since it was not in his character to drink alcohol, he decided on some Vulcan tea instead. When a waiter came by the table to take drink orders, he asked for the tea of his native world. He often preferred it over anything else. He could hear by the conversation between Como Carpathia, Cmdr Calzada and LtCmdr Delgado they had been here awhile. The Doctor still arrived in plenty of time since there were still a few empty seats here at the table and Adm Arayuss was still socializing at Oriskany's table.

Chris walked into the Hall with his Marines in their dress uniforms and escorted them to their tables before making his way to Infiniti's table for their Command Staff. He smiled at the officers already seated and quickly sat down by LtCmdr Delgado. The 1st Lieutenant was pleased to be in attendance tonight at this function celebrating the defeat of the Deltaurans. He saw MGen Alderez seated at the Administration table and smiled as he nodded a Hello, Sir. to the General. Chris then focused his attention to the people seated at the table with him.

1Lt. Lopez: Hello everyone, I passed a few more members of the Senior Staff on my way here so they should be coming in soon.

The Marine Detachment Commander helped himself to the champagne bottle on the table and poured himself a glass and took a small sip to see how it tasted. It seemed really good so he drank a little more. The alcohol didn't overpower the flavor, which is how Chris liked it. He was not big on alcoholic beverages since it was improper for a Starfleet Marine to be drunk at anytime.

E.J. was pleased to see 1Lt. Lopez arrive at the table and exercise discretion with his alcohol consumption. The CO had no doubt in his mind that MGen Alderez was very proud of this Marine for the Commodore knew he was very much so.

Como Carpathia: It's good to see you here, Chris. You're always welcome at my table. I'm very proud to have you on my ship and look forward to having you around for many more missions. You really have a good feel for the Marines under your command. I am quite positive that General Alderez is proud of you as well.

The Commanding Officer of Infiniti hoped he didn't embarrass 1Lt. Lopez with all of the praise he showered on the young Marine officer. But the 1st Lieutenant really was an asset to the crew of this vessel and E.J. wanted to make sure Chris knew he was very much appreciated.
