E.J. was standing there smiling till he heard what the young officer suggested.
Patti Williams:
OH MY YES! That would just be so cute! Captain, get over there with the Ensign, come on, come on, get in there.
He relunctantly moved next to the Ensign and put his arm around his shoulder and smiled and muttered through his clenched teeth.
Capt Carpathia:
There's on old Klingon Proverb you should be aware of, Jansen. Revenge is a dish that is best served cold...and it is very cold in space.
He smiled through the rest of the photo session with Ms. Williams. When they finished she put her camera back on her desk and came back over.
Patti Williams:
I will have 2 more duty uniforms ready for you later, and a dress uniform as well. I'll have them sent to your ship when I'm finished. Which one was it again? The Lexus?
E.J.'s body tweaked and shuddered.
Capt Carpathia:
No ma'am. Infiniti.
Patti Williams:
Okay-dokay, I'll send them over when they're done. How will this be paid for?
She looked at the Ensign, then to the Captain, then to the PADD she was holding.
Capt Carpathia:
On my personal account.
He signed the PADD she handed him, smiled and escorted the Ensign out in his fine new uniform. _________________

The Andorian Captain moaned as she woke, her antennae slowly waking with her to garner her equilibrium. She rubbed her forehead as if she had a hangover, more than likely after the amount of alcohol she had put away the previous evening.
Pi'Lar looked down at her hand as she finished, expecting sweat from the wet feeling she had, to see what appeared to be a large, black smudge.
Capt Zh’Osha:
What the…?
The Captain slowly stood, using the bulkhead and window as she did to steady herself, whilst her antennae readjusted to the height. She wobbled momentarily before straightening her uniform.
Capt Zh’Osha:
Computer, current station time?
SB34-COM:
Current time aboard Starbase 34 is 1149 hours.
Capt Zh’Osha:
Oh no… I’m late now… I hope he hasn’t left yet.
The CO rushed to the Turbolift and rode the car to the docking port where she had expected to see the Sutherland parked. Once she arrived, she found the bay empty. Pi'Lar looked around, seeing the Whitestar, which gave her cause to elate… At least the maintenance and repairs were well underway, and she was no longer leaking radiation.
Turning, Capt Zh'Osha could see the crew beginning to mill into the opposite lounge, where the Event Horizon was parked. She thought it looked a little small, in the middle of the other ships, like a puppy dog between some Great Danes.
Pi'Lar had some time, and decided she would frequent the restaurant on the lower decks, she had been meaning to try some of the Romulan cultural database for quite some time, and now would be as a good a time as any...

Quarters of the Commander in Chief - Deck 12, Section 1
|
|
The Admiral had taken a short nap after the departure of Sutherland. The events of his mission to Sector Epsilon really wore him out. But he awoke fully rested and decided to meet with Prof Brewer and together they could go to the Observation Area where the Professor could join the crew for the clandestine mission of FAdm Skyner's. Aeryck washed up quickly and put on his uniform and headed out the door and down the corridor to the Turbolift. The Admiral took the lift down to the area where the Civilian Quarters were located on Deck 2274 and exited.
Walking down the corridor, he smiled as he passed civilians going about their daily functions. It was very uncommon for the CinC of Gamma Fleet to be in this area, so some people couldn't help but stare at the Admiral. Nevertheless, Aeryck was cheerful and nodded to people as they greeted him. He arrived at the door of Prof Brewer and rang the door chime, announcing his arrival to the occupant.
When the door opened, he saw the Professor was already dressed in his Civilian Scientist attire and had a travel bag over his shoulder. It was obvious that Prof Brewer was ready to board Event Horizon and go on another adventure. Aeryck smiled at Prof Brewer as he asked him if they could go together to the Spacedock.
Adm Arayuss:
Good morning, Professor. I was wondering if you would like me to accompany you to where Event Horizon is waiting? I'm going there myself to see them off so I thought I would join you in your trek through Starbase 34. If you don't mind...
As the Admiral waited to hear Prof Brewer's decision to travel together to the Spacedock, he saw by the ancient cuckoo clock on the Professor's wall that it was closing in on 1200 hours. If they were going to go together, they would need to leave relatively soon so they would arrive on time for the launch. Since Prof Brewer was already dressed and packed, Aeryck knew all they had to do was get to a Turbolift and their next stop would be the Observation Area of the Spacedock. _________________

Galleria - Civilian Levels

Pi’Lar arrived at the Galleria and took a look around at the mass of shoppers and restaurant-goers. She was unsure of which to enter first and simply walked without direction into the first establishment her feet took her to. The Captain strode towards the attendant.
Capt Zh’Osha:
I’d like some Andorian Ale, please.
The Wadi gentlemen looked somewhat taken aback.
Artois:
I’m afraid we haven’t served anything remotely Andorian for some time, Captain. May I interest you in some Nectar instead?
Pi’Lar watched as he retrieved a bottle from beneath the counter. It looked somewhat radioactive, glowing bright yellow and bubbling within the bottle.
Capt Zh’Osha:
I guess it will do, thank you.
She took the bottle and pressed a thumb towards the PADD he held towards her to be charged for the purchase.
Artois:
Perhaps you may like to stay… We’re about to play some Chula.
The Captain shook her head and headed out the door, she decided now was the time to see her ship, since it was no longer leaking radiation and was inside the superstructure of SB34.
