Dr. Sarrlak nodded as the Captain departed and returned to his office. He sat back down and resumed his work, then paused and exchanged the pip on his collar with the one in the box. He could see the two gold pips in the reflection of the monitor. He found the image of himself...agreeable.

The CO continued down the corridor towards the TL and was about to enter, when he spoke out to the ship's computer.

Capt Carpathia: Computer, where is Marine Capt. Bath'Ney?

Infiniti-Com: Marine Capt. Bath'Ney is located in his quarters.

He stepped into the TL and proceeded to Deck 3. Exiting, he went down the corridor and stopped in front of the door that read Marine Captain Bath'Ney - Marine Detachment Commander in bold letters. He tapped the door chime and waited for a response.

MCapt Bath?Ney finished changing back into his Starfleet Marine uniform when he heard the door chime. He wondered which member of the squad was coming to bother him in his quarters as he is preparing to return to duty. He thinks to himself, If it's Gorman he's going to be scrubbing the engines till he retires. He turns and looks to the door.

MCapt Bath'Ney: Enter!

He stands there ready to scowl at the Marine who has disturbed him.

When he heard Bath'Ney respond he entered his quarters and seen him standing there extremely displeased.

Capt Carpathia: Did I come at a bad time?

He waited to hear the Klingon's response.

When Bath'Ney seen it was Captain Carpathia at the door, he snapped to attention.

MCapt Bath'Ney: Sir, no Sir. I thought it was a member of the squad or 2Lt. Gorman, Sir. My appologies.

He stood there at attention, waiting for the CO to respond.

The CO stood in the doorway and seen that the Klingon Marine was busy with getting ready to return to duty, so he did not want to hold him up.

Capt Carpathia: I was just in the area and so I thought I would drop by. But I see you're busy, so perhaps another time. As you were...

He stepped out of the doorway, allowing the doors to slide shut, and continued down the corridor to the TL and went to the Lounge. Once inside, he got himself seated at a table and had himself brought a beverage. He had some time to relax and meet members of the crew. So he enjoyed himself for a while.

Diandra glanced at the time and noticed that what break she had was over.
Fixing her hair as it was before she left sick bay, she proceeded to leave her quarters and head down to Sickbay.

She was pretty sure she wasn't the only one to recieve a promotion, none the less she was proud to have been promoted.

Ellis was working on the computer generated model of the chamber alongside his engineers when he heard Lt. Joffee announce his arrival.

Lt. Ellis: Welcome to Engineering, Lieutenant. Grab yourself a PADD and a seat and let's get to work on this. We need all the help we can get, we're going to start constructing the real thing within the hour.

He smiled and motioned to Joffee to join the crowd.

Lt. Joffee smiled and grabbed one of the spare PADDs on the console and walked over to them and took a seat and began going over the model and adding suggestions of his own. He was thrilled beyond words. Joffee couldn't help it, he was in his element. He worked with them like a member of the team. With one common goal, get this chamber ready.

The CO sat in the Lounge and finished his beverage at the table by himself. He liked how the room looked in the current lighting. It reminded him of the Lounge on Explorer. As he looked at the other officers and crew emjoying their time off duty, he thought about his encounter with MCapt Bath'Ney. He was disappointed that the Klingon didn't want to speak to him. Carpathia thought that when he passed the PADD in the Briefing Room to Bath'Ney, when he thought Hennings was going to stir up a revolt, that the large Klingon had his back. He realized now that Bath'Ney most likely said that out of respect for the rank and not the person. He figured that it may be possible that the Klingon would be happier on a vessel where there were more Marines. Instead of the small detachment that was on Infiniti. The CO figured that perhaps he would discuss it with his XO when he returned to the Bridge.

He rose from the table and smiled at the other members of the crew as he exited the Lounge. He walked down the corridor and to the TL and proceeded to the Bridge. Upon his arrival, he exited onto the Bridge and nodded to the XO and smiled.

Capt Carpathia: I said I would be back.

Seeing the smile on the XOs face, he knew it was genuine. He took his seat and then leaned over and inquired in a soft tone.

Capt Carpathia: I don't believe you've met our Marne Detachment Commander, have you?

He seen the XO shake his head.

Capt Carpathia: He doesn't seem to have taken a liking to me for some reason. We may have let Mr. Hennings depart too hastefully without taking a passenger with him.

The CO paused to see if his XO has anything else to add.
