ISSCV Interior - Extraction Site - New Bajor

Chris reentered the ISSCV after the children were beamed up to the USS Eureka and read the message from LtCmdr Trylon that Sutherland was next and could take on a much greater amount of refugees. This pleased the Marine Captain, knowing that many more children would soon be out of harm's way. Going to the console, MCpt Lopez sent an acknowledgement to the Chief Operations Officer that the next group of children were already segregated from those who needed to be checked for embryos. Returning outside of the ISSCV, Chris addressed the children who were waiting in a large group under Infiniti where they were protected from the rain.
MCpt Lopez:
Children! Give me your attention, please! Infiniti will be transporting up the next group of refugees to the USS Sutherland, a Nebula Class Starship! Much more of you will be going up this time, so prepare to beam up!
Tapping his Combadge, the Marine Captain contacted Infiniti...
MCpt Lopez:
Lopez to Infiniti, the next group of kids are ready to go up to Sutherland!
Making sure the area was clear, Chris once again, entered the ISSCV and waited to see the children dematerialize through Infiniti's Transporter System and know that they all materialized safely aboard Sutherland. The Marine Captain was curious how close the Xenomorph horde was approaching the extraction site, so Chris decided to contact MCpt Vansen aboard her SA-43X Hammerhead and get an update.
MCpt Lopez:
Captain Lopez to Captain Vansen! What's the update on the Xenomorphs approaching the extraction site? We've finished beaming up the refugees to Oriskany, Eureka, and we're beaming a massive group up to Sutherland in a few moments. We'll be out of here soon, so I'd like to know how much time we've got before those ALIENS overrun this area.
The Marine Detachment Commander stood by the console and waited to hear back from MCpt Vansen on the approach of the hostiles. Between the Deputy Detachment Wing Commander and the rest of the 58th Squadron between New Rakantha and the extraction site, Chris felt somewhat safe. But just in case, MCpt Lopez would feel safer with a report from MCpt Vansen on the current status of the oncoming attack. _________________

E.J. was pleased William took care of the majority of refugees by beaming them up to Sutherland, where there was plenty of room for them. The Commodore just needed to hear from Jansen if the Holodecks were ready for the remaining children on the surface.
Como Carpathia:
Thank you, Mr. Trylon! As soon as our Yeoman, Mr. Panettiere, lets us know the Holodecks are ready, beam the children up right away. Then let Captain Lopez know it's time to get the Squad, Medical Personnel, and the I-Double-S-C-V the Hell out of Dodge!
The CO waited on hearing from the Yeoman that the Holodecks were refugee ready so they could let MCpt Lopez know to evacuate the Squad and get the Hell out of Dodge. A colloquial term used when people wanted to escape from Dodge City, Kansas before being gunned down in such a lawless environment. _________________

Yeoman's Quarters - Deck 3

Jansen heard the voice of LtCmdr Trylon over his Combadge regarding the usage of the Holodecks for the refugees coming up from New Bajor, so the Yeoman picked up his PADD and ran for the door and out into the corridor he went. At the end of the hallway inside Infiniti, Jansen entered the Turbolift and went straight to Deck 6, where the Holodecks were located. Stepping inside, the Lieutenant made all the necessary modifications for both Holodecks to be able to support 60 children each. Upon making sure the Holodecks were ready, the Yeoman tapped his Combadge to call to the Bridge.
Lt. Panettiere:
Panettiere to Bridge, Holodecks One and Two are ready to receive refugees! I'll start making warm food for them right now! Perhaps Counselor Elbrun can lend me a hand as the children will be traumatized from all that's happened to them?
As the Lieutenant began replicating hot bowls of their native soup and cups of hot chocolate to drink, which was a personal favorite of his own. Jansen was happy to be of service during this dangerous mission. The Yeoman remembered his first encounter with a Xenomorph in the Jeffries Tubes that lead to the Impulse Engine Exhaust Manifold, and how he secured himself in a maintenance locker before opening the exhaust ports and blowing the creature out into space. The Yeoman always wanted to be able to use a weapon to terminate a Xenomorph personally, but it didn't look like that was going to happen this time out on Infiniti's fourth mission in the Gamma Quadrant. _________________

ISSCV Interior - Extraction Site - New Bajor

The Marine Captain was pleased to see the children beam up to Sutherland and hear that the remaining kids would be going up to Infiniti in a matter of moments. The final group got together and sure enough, they too, beamed up to the Intrepid Class Starship which was hovering directly above them. Hearing that none of the Xenomorphs had made it passed the Wildcards from MCpt Vansen was good news indeed! Now that all the refugees were transported from the extraction site, Chris heard the message from LtCmdr Trylon to evacuate immediately. Looking towards the Squad of Marines deployed around the area, it was time to inform them to board the ISSCV, stow their weapons, and prepare for liftoff. The same went for the medical personnel...
MCpt Lopez:
Okay, Marines! The time has come to blow this taco stand! Let's get loaded into the I-Double-S-C-V! Dr. Sarrlak, let's get a move on, it's time to leave this place!
Chris watched as the Marines and medical personnel filed into the ISSCV with their equipment and stowed it properly. Having Infiniti above them made it easier since the Starship was blocking all the rain that would be coming down on them. Once everyone was in their seats, the door was closed, Sgt Ferro started the engines and began the procedure to liftoff the planet. In a matter of moments, they felt the ISSCV leave the ground and maneuver around from under Infiniti.
Sgt Ferro:
This is Sergeant Ferro on the I-Double-S-C-V, calling Infiniti, we're on final approach to the Shuttlebay, request opening of the door at this time.
Like a well oiled machine, the Shuttlebay door slid open and Colette piloted the ISSCV to the rear of the Flight Deck and landed the ship.
Sgt Ferro:
We're home everyone! Feel free to disembark at this time!
Getting up from his seat first to open the door to the ISSCV, Chris nodded to the Marines and medical personnel they could resume their duties aboard Infiniti.
MCpt Lopez:
Alright everyone, let's return to our designated areas aboard Infiniti, I'll head to the Bridge and report to Commodore Carpathia. Doctor, thank you for all that you've done to help with the safety of the refugees. I'm glad the Wildcards were able to keep the Xenomorphs from getting to the extraction site. While I'm on the Bridge, I'd like Lieutenant Parra to have the Squad ready to be inspected by Dr. Sarrlak and make sure there's no surprise pregnancies with any Facehugger embryos.
Clapping his hands together, the Marine Captain raised his voice loud enough for everyone to hear.
MCpt Lopez:
Let's snap to it!
The Marine Detachment Commander watched as everyone passed him in their muddy gear and headed for the Marine Barracks and showers on Deck 7 to get cleaned up and stow their firearms in the Weapons Locker. As for the medical personnel, Dr. Sarrlak lead them back to Sickbay on Deck 5 so they could put the medical equipment back where they belong. Once the Shuttlebay was empty, Chris made his way to the Bridge and upon arrival, exited the Turbolift. Seeing that the Commodore was somewhat busy, MCpt Lopez waited for Como Carpathia to be ready for his report on the extraction of all the refugees from New Bajor. _________________
