As LtCmdr Boffi received the notification from MCpt Lopez that the next group of 40 children were ready to beam up, Michaelangelo informed Capt Calzada the child refugees were coming aboard and going straight to Holodeck 2.

Lt. Commander Boffi: The next group of forty refugees are beaming to Holodeck Two now, Captain! If we beam down two more sets of Transporter Enhancers, we'll be able to beam up a hundred and twenty refugees at a time! That way we can fill up each Holodeck in no time!

The Chief Ops/Com Officer waited to hear what the Captain was going to say regarding his suggestion to send down more Transporter Enhancers to the extraction site so they could be up 120 refugees at a time. As soon as Capt Calzada approved of Michaelangelo's idea, the Lieutenant Commander would contact MCpt Lopez and have him keep the enhancers down there clear and wait for the newly arriving enhancers to appear at the extraction site.

David was happy to hear another group of child refugees were safely in Holodeck 2 and ecstatic to hear that LtCmdr Boffi came up with a plan to make it possible to beam up more than 40 at a time! The Captain let Michaelangelo know to go ahead with the implementation of his plan!

Capt Calzada: Make it so, Mr. Boffi!

The CO waited to hear that the plan to be able to increase the Transporter quantity of refugees had been implemented. David also knew it was probable that the Chief Ops/Com Officer would need the assistance of LtCmdr Waters, Oriskany's Chief Engineer to obtain the Transporter Enhancers and bring them to a Transporter Room so that LtCmdr Boffi could beam them down to the extraction site. That way the Marines down on the surface could set them up and Oriskany could beam up 120 refugees at a time!

Michaelangelo nodded and replied to the Captain as he sent a message down to Engineering for LtCmdr Waters to see, regarding the Transporter Enhancers being taken to where they could be beamed down to the extraction site. Once the message was sent to the Chief Engineer, LtCmdr Boffi sent a message down to Infiniti's ISSCV so that either MCpt Lopez or 1Lt. Parra could keep the area inside the enhancers clear for the arrival of the items beaming down from Oriskany.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Aye, Captain! I just informed our Chief Engineer to prepare two sets of enhancers to beam down to the extraction site and I sent a message down to the I-Double-S-C-V so they know to keep the area clear for the arrival of the devices to increase the ability to beam more refugees to Oriskany.

The Chief Ops/Com Officer waited on the confirmation from LtCmdr Waters that the enhancers were ready to beam down to the extraction site, and a confirmation from either MCpt Lopez or 1Lt. Parra that the enhancer area is clear for the devices to arrive. Once the confirmations arrive, Michaelangelo would let Capt Calzada know so he could order LtCmdr Boffi to beam down the Transporter Enhancers for the Marines to set up at the extraction site and make it possible to beam up 120 refugees.

As Zac was keeping Engineering functioning at its best, he heard the tone of an arriving message from the Bridge. LtCmdr Waters walked quickly over to his console and read the message from LtCmdr Boffi regarding the Transporter Enhancers. Using even more speed than before, Zac went to the locker where such items were kept and brought them to the closest place to beam them down, Transporter Room 3. Placing the 2 sets of enhancers down on the pad, LtCmdr Waters tapped his Combadge to let LtCmdr Boffi know the enhancers were ready to beam down.

Lt. Commander Waters: Waters to Boffi! I've got the enhancers on the center pad in Transporter Room Three! They're all ready to go! Waters out!

Instead of rushing back to Main Engineering, the Chief Engineer stood by to make sure all went well with the beaming down of the Transporter Enhancers. Zac knew that Ens Liebowitz would have things under control in the Engine Room. Even if the Ensign was taking one of his bagel breaks, LtCmdr Waters knew Herschel would never neglect his duties as Assistant Engineering Officer of Oriskany. The Chief never left Deck 17 so to return to Main Engineering was only a matter of moments down the corridor at a quick pace, so Zac could return there very quickly if need be.

Michaelangelo was very pleased to hear from both LtCmdr Waters and 1Lt. Parra on their confirmations regarding the beaming down of the Transporter Enhancers. Now that everyone was ready, LtCmdr Boffi spoke out and informed Capt Calzada about the readiness of his plan.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Captain, Commander Waters has informed me the Transporter Enhancers are ready to beam down, and Lieutenant Parra sent a message up from the I-Double-S-C-V the enhancer area is clear down there at the extraction site, so we're all ready for you to give the word, Sir.

The Chief Ops/Com Officer stood ready to beam the sets of enhancers down to the extraction site so they could be setup and get more children up to Oriskany. Once the Transporter Enhancers were all spaced properly in the extraction area and the kids started to beam up 120 at a time, the Holodecks would fill up quickly. Then it would become USS Sutherland's turn to bring up refugees. After that would be the USS Infiniti, then most likely the USS Eureka and if there was anybody left, they would beam up to the USS Explorer.

The Captain heard LtCmdr Boffi and was pleased to hear that his officers were quite proficient at the jobs. Leaning forward in the CO's chair, David informed Michaelangelo to go ahead and beam the Transporter Enhancers down to the extraction site where they would be used to increase the amount of refugees that could be transported up from the surface.

Capt Calzada: Mr. Boffi, the word is given!

The CO waited to hear that the enhancers were beamed to the surface and when they could expect to start transporting more refugees from the extraction site. David knew it wouldn't take the Marines down on the surface long to setup the Transporter Enhancers. MCpt Lopez and the Squad from Infiniti was very good at their jobs, which included the setting up of these devices in the event of an emergency, which this situation would clearly be classified as.

The Lieutenant Commander heard the response he was waiting for from Capt Calzada and immediately transported the enhancers down to the surface so they could be set up to make it possible to beam up 80 more children than they were beaming up before.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Enhancers have been beamed down to the extraction site, Captain! I'm waiting to hear word from Captain Lopez on when we'll be ready to beam up another eighty refugees into Holodeck Two. After that, we'll be taking up a hundred and twenty refugees at a time and placing them into the empty Holodecks that Ensign McKenna has ready for them.

The Chief Operations Officer kept an eye on his Communications panel for a reply from MCpt Lopez to let Michaelangelo know the Transporter Enhancers had arrived and were setup and initiated for usage. According to Ens McKenna, Holodeck 2 was ready to receive the rest of the child refugees. So it was only a matter of time before the second Holodeck was full of wet children.

Dragana arrived at Holodeck 2 and saw Ens McKenna handing out warm towels to the 40 children that recently arrived. Quickly, the Doctor began scanning each child for injuries to make sure none of them needed to go to Sickbay for intensive care. Dr. Jovic's Medical Kit contained everything she would need in the event of any abrasions or broken bones, since the kit contained dermal re-generators and bone mending devices to aid the children. Looking over towards the Yeoman, Dragana asked how soon the next batch was coming.

Cmdr Jovic: How soon will the next batch of forty be transporting up here, Jeremy?

As the Doctor waited on a reply from Ens McKenna, she continued scanning over the children as they removed their wet clothing, dried off and changed into the warm robes the Ensign had ready for them. LtCmdr Arrayah wasn't far behind and would be entering Holodeck 2 any moment. The Counselor would be able to assist with getting the children some hot food along with the Yeoman as Dr. Jovic continued scanning the child refugees for any physical damage.

Jeremy last heard they would be getting more refugees anytime now, so he informed Dr. Jovic there was going to be a new batch arriving shortly. Looking over toward the Romulan Physician, the Ensign spoke up and filled the Doctor in on what he knew so far.

Ens McKenna: Last I heard we'll be getting another forty anytime now. I'll start making the Bajoran Alphabet Soup for them, so the ones we have and the incoming children will have some hot food in their stomachs to warm them up.

The Yeoman went over to the wall of the Holodeck and began the process of making the soup for the child refugees while Dr. Jovic continued to check them medically and physically. It was going to take a few minutes to prepare everything since Jeremy was doing it by himself. Hopefully Counselor Arrayah would arrive soon to lend a helping hand or two.

As Arrayah entered Holodeck 2, the Counselor saw that Dr. Jovic was checking over the survivors from New Bajor and Yeoman McKenna was busy making a hot meal for all the wet, hungry children. Seeing that the Ensign was working on making what appeared to be a huge pot of soup, LtCmdr Arrayah thought she would go over and help the Yeoman with his task.

Lt. Commander Arrayah: I see that you are making hot soup for the child refugees. Do you need a hand, Jeremy?

Waiting on the Yeoman to respond to whether or not he needed assistance making the soup for the children, Arrayah looked around Holodeck 2 and noticed it was set up identically to Holodeck 1, except for a kitchenette where Jeremy was working on their hot meal. The Counselor wondered how long it would be before the next group of wet children would be beaming up from the extraction point? LtCmdr Arrayah figured it wouldn't be long since both Dr. Jovic and Ens McKenna were moving rather quickly at their tasks.
