Marine Detachment Commander's Office - Deck 7

Chris looked up and smiled at the Lieutenant that was even younger than himself. He remembered the days when he was the lowest ranking officer in a Marine Squad.

1Lt. Lopez: Welcome aboard, Mr. Parra. We'll be launching shortly for Sector Epsilon and the Commodore will be briefing me on our mission soon. Make sure the squad is ready for whatever our CO has planned. Dismissed.

Tapping the Companel on his desk, he reported to Como Carpathia the status of the Marine Detachment.

1Lt. Lopez: Lopez to Commodore Carpathia. All the Marines are aboard, Sir.

With that task taken care of, Chris returned to the manifest of soldiers that were under his command. He made it a matter of importance to read the files on each and every one of the Marines, so that their specialities could be utilized efficiently.

Gangway Hatch - Deck 8

The Admiral walked through the Gangway Hatch into Infiniti and went straight to the Bridge. Aeryck wanted to make sure E.J. was getting the ship ready to launch for it wouldn't be long before Tony would be contact them to transport the weapons aboard. The CinC exited the Turbolift and walked out onto Infiniti's Bridge.

Adm Arayuss: Commodore, what's our launch status? I've already given the weapon to Admiral Martinelli for replication so it won't be long till we receive them in the Cargo Bay.

Aeryck walked down from the upper deck of the Bridge, passing Lt. Trylon at the Ops Station. Como Carpathia was seated in the CO's seat, and Cmdr Calzada was not in the XO's seat or anywhere on the Bridge. Lt. JG Panettiere was standing by Lt. JG Florent? at the Conn and LtCmdr Delgado was pacing the lower deck of the Bridge with a slight impatience. Over at the Tac/Sec Station was Lt. JG D'Shoua and Ens Ramirez getting their station ready. The Admiral even noticed that Ens DeGrazzio was at the Science Station in a very excited demeanor.

Bridge - Deck 1

The Commodore immediately rose from his seat to greet the Admiral. E.J. had far too much respect for the CinC to remain seated in his presence.

Como Carpathia: All members of the crew have reported in and we're getting ready to launch, Sir. Warp Core is already online, main systems are active, Bridge stations are fully operational. Commander Delgado has been getting the ship ready, Admiral. My XO is on his way up from Engineering.

E.J. remained standing in the Admiral's presence, it was an honor to have him aboard. This was going to be Infiniti's third mission in the Gamma Quadrant, but this time the Commander in Chief of Gamma Fleet was coming along so that the mission was directly under his supervision.

David walked out onto the Bridge and saw Como Carpathia standing in front of Adm Arayuss on the lower deck area. The XO walked down to where they were both were and greeted them.

Cmdr Calzada: Welcome back, Commodore. It's a pleasure to have you aboard, Admiral. How can I be of service to either of you?

The Commander stood there politely and waited for either of them to give him a task to undertake. Whatever it would be, the XO would carry it out to the best of his abilities.

E.J. glanced at Aeryck to see if he had anything specific in mind for his XO to do, and seeing that the Admiral did not, the CO gave him orders to follow.

Como Carpathia: Relieve Mr. Delgado so that he can get behind his Conn Station and then continue with our launch preparations.

The CO could tell that Al?jandro was desperately wishing to be seated at his station and getting Infiniti ready to go. E.J. knew that Lt. JG Florent? was doing a fine job, but to LtCmdr Delgado...piloting Infiniti was what he lived for.

David smiled as he walked over to where Al?jandro was standing and patted him on the shoulder as he spoke. The XO wanted to thank the Second Officer for the great job he did getting Infiniti ready for launch.

Cmdr Calzada: You're relieved, Mr. Delgado. Thank you for supervising our launch preparations. You may take your station if you wish.

The Commander walked back to his seat and planted himself into his chair and tapped the Companel.

Cmdr Calzada: Commander Calzada to all department heads, report your launch status to the Bridge.

As David waited to hear from all the department heads from around Infiniti to report their launch status he looked over at Adm Arayuss and Como Carpathia. The XO hoped there would be no difficulties causing any delays in their launch from SB34.

Al?jandro was incredibly pleased to be relieved from getting Infiniti ready to launch. It's not that LtCmdr Delgado minded being in command, it was not being able to sit behind his console that was making him so ansy.

Lt. Commander Delgado: Thank you, Sir! Don't mind if I do!

With a laugh, Al? came up from behind Lt. JG Florent? and placed a hand on the younger officer's shoulder.

Lt. Commander Delgado: Alrighty mate, I'll take over from here. Why don't you go down to Auxilary Control and make sure the Flight Control System there is fully operational as well.

When Joey vacated the Conn Station, LtCmdr Delgado gladly took his seat behind Infiniti's Flight Control consoles. There was no other place aboard a starship that Al?jandro would rather be, and that even included the CO's seat on the Bridge.

Sickbay - Deck 5

The Doctor heard Cmdr Calzada over the ship's internal com system and looked over towards Ens Diesso who had just finished calibrating all of the BioBeds as instructed, before responding to the XO's order.

Lt. Sarrlak: Sickbay to Bridge, this is Dr. Sarrlak. I am reporting that Sickbay is launch ready.

Infiniti's Chief Medical Officer walked into his office and began going over the medical records of the crew members that were recently assigned. It was the responsibility of every ship's chief physician to know everything they could able the crew they were medically responsible for.

Bridge - Deck 1

The Commodore heard the Doctor reporting in from Sickbay, and it occurred to him that he hadn't had a chance to see Dr. Sarrlak since they docked from their last mission. E.J. turned and excused himself from Adm Arayuss before going to his Ready Room to retrieve something from his desk. As re-entered the Bridge from his Ready Room he announced his destination.

Como Carpathia: I've got business in Sickbay, and I'll be back in a little while. Mr. Calzada, you have the Bridge.

E.J. stepped into a Turbolift and proceeded down to Deck 5 and walked to Sickbay. The CO smiled as he was greeted by members of his crew along the way. Upon arriving in Infiniti's primary medical facility, he called to the Doctor.

Como Carpathia: Doctor?

The Commodore saw that the Vulcan physician was seated in his office, which lead him to walk inside to speak with him.

Como Carpathia: Doctor, I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to see you before you left for Vulcan. I wanted to present you with this earlier. But now that you're here, I'm going to present it to you now.

E.J. placed the dark rank pip in front of the Doctor that signified that he was now promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The Commodore smiled as he continued speaking to LtCmdr Sarrlak.

Como Carpathia: Doctor Sarrlak, you are officially promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, with all the responsibilities and priviledges that come with it. Congratulations .

The Commodore remained smiling as he looked over towards the Doctor's new assistant that was assigned to him.

Como Carpathia: How is Mr. Diesso working out?

As E.J. waited on a response to his inquiry he watched as Dr. Sarrlak added the rank pip to the collar of his duty uniform. The CO was very pleased he had the opportunity to promote Sarrlak, it was something he had wanted to do for quite a while.

Chief Medical Officer's Office - Deck 5

Sarrlak was pleased with his promotion. Even though it was not necessary in Vulcan culture to show the emotion of gratitude, the Doctor knew that humans appreciated the emotion when it was displayed.

Lt. Commander Sarrlak: Thank you, Commodore. It has been an honor serving with you and I look forward to a long continuous service. As for Mr. Diesso, I find him exceptionally efficient.

The Doctor waited to hear if Como Carpathia had anything else to add. Sickbay was ready for Infiniti's launch, however Sarrlak still wanted to finish reading all the medical reports on the new members of the crew.
