E..J. followed FAdm Skyner and Adm Arayuss into the Office of the Commander in Chief of Gamma Fleet. The Commodore nodded in agreement to the telepathic message the Admiral sent him regarding Lt. Boffi and Alexander being an instant family, while they were all leaving the ICU. He returned a telepathic message back to Adm Arayuss.

Como Carpathia: I agree, they'll be great together.

The Division 1 Commander took a seat across from the Admiral's desk and waited for Adm Arayuss to take his seat behind it, and figured FAdm Skyner would take the empty seat that was across from the Admiral as well. E.J. surmised they would continue discussing the situation involving Event Horizon and it's clandestine mission ahead.

Jaeson took one of the available seats across from Adm Arayuss and beside Como Carpathia. He had been thinking if RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez should attend the meeting as their inputs may be needed as well. The Fleet Admiral made his suggestion know to the Admiral.

FAdm Skyner: I think it would be prudent to have Tony and Rex join us as well. Their inputs may be valuable to the outcome of the mission.

The Commander in Chief of Starfleet Command waited on Adm Arayuss to notify RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez to join them in the CinC's office. Once they arrived they would get down to business regarding the secret mission of Event Horizon. Jaeson already selected the officer he wanted to command the mission, next would come the task of selecting a crew to go with him, along with some Marines for good measure.

Aeryck agreed with FAdm Skyner's suggestion of inviting RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez to the meeting and called out to Ens Russ who was seated just outside his office. She didn't seem too busy when they walked by her on their way in here.

Adm Arayuss: Andrea, can you tell Tony and Rex to come in here and join us, please?

The Admiral knew it wouldn't take long for the Rear Admiral and Major General to attend the meeting since both of them had offices right down the corridor. Once they arrived they would start by securing the door to his office so nobody would be able to hear what the topic was going to be about.

The Ensign heard Adm Arayuss' call to her to inform RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez to report to his meeting with FAdm Skyner and Como Carpathia, so she rose from her chair and peeked into the Admiral's office.

Ens Russ: Aye, Sir. I'll inform them right away.

Andrea walked down the corridor to the Chief of Fleet Operations office and peeked her head into the open doorway.

Ens Russ: Admiral Martinelli? Admiral Arayuss would like you to join him in his meeting with Fleet Admiral Skyner and Commodore Carpathia right now.

She smiled to the Rear Admiral and then proceeded further down the corridor to the Fleet Marine Force Commandant's office and entered the open doorway and spoke to MGen Alderez.

Ens Russ: General Alderez? Admiral Arayuss would like you to join him in his meeting with Fleet Admiral Skyner, Rear Admiral Martinelli and Commodore Carpathia right now.

The Ensign smiled to the Major General and returned back to her desk outside the CinC's office. Since neither of them followed her immediately, they must be finishing up whatever they were working on before she informed them of the Admiral's request for their attendance in the meeting.

Tony was at his desk when he heard Andrea inform him that he was expected in the CinC's office down the corridor. The Rear Admiral had just began to select possible candidates to act as Capt Marino's Senior Staff aboard Sutherland when the Ensign interrupted with the news.

RAdm Martinelli: I'll be right there, Andrea.

The Chief of Fleet Operations closed out the program he was using to identify candidates for Sutherland's Senior Staff and got up from behind his desk and proceeded down the corridor to the Admiral's office.

RAdm Martinelli: I'm here as requested, Admiral.

Tony walked in and took an empty seat beside FAdm Skyner. He wondered what the meeting was going to be about and did it have something to do with the vessel the Fleet Admiral arrived in with Capt Zh'Osha. The Rear Admiral sat there and waited for the meeting to begin, possibly following the arrival of MGen Alderez.

Rex was just going over the roster of Marines aboard the all the ships in the fleet and gauging those in line for a promotion after their victory of the Battle of Sector Epsilon when he heard the voice of Ens Russ inform him his presence was expected in the office of Adm Arayuss. He placed his PADD down containing the roster of Marines to be promoted and walked out of his office and down the corridor to where the CinC's office was located and entered to find the Admiral behind his desk, seated across from him was FAdm Skyner, RAdm Martinelli and Como Carpathia. There was an empty chair beside the others seated so he took the remaining seat.

MGen Alderez: Thank you for inviting me to the meeting, Admiral.

The Fleet Marine Force Commandant waited on the Admiral or anyone else to speak up on what the meeting was regarding. He had a suspicion it had to do with the vessel berthed inside SB34 that he heard something about from the Marines stationed here on the Starbase. Whatever it was regarding, it had his full attention.

The Admiral smiled at both RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez as he welcomed them to his office. Now that they were all here, he could turn the meeting over to FAdm Skyner and the reason they were all in attendance. Aeryck tapped the console on his desk and sealed the office door so their conversation wouldn't be overheard by anyone outside of the room.

Adm Arayuss: I'm glad you both could be here. Now, I'd like to turn this meeting over to Fleet Admiral Skyner since this is his endeavor.

The CinC waited on FAdm Skyner to pass RAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez PADDs that outlined the mission parameters of the USS Event Horizon along with who he selected to command it. Aeryck figured it would be an interesting read for the two of them, since he knew it was definitely interesting to both Como Carpathia and himself when they read it.

Jaeson took two PADDs that he transferred his mission specifications on and stood up and handed one to RAdm Martinelli and one to MGen Alderez. He watched as they accessed the information and began reading it.

FAdm Skyner: Let me know what you both think when you've completed the mission dossier, I'd like your input on this.

The Fleet Admiral sat back down and looked over at Adm Arayuss and Como Carpathia who had already read the information on the PADDs Jaeson gave each of them earlier, before the passing of Capt Reich. From what he saw of LtCmdr Little lending his support to Dr. Jovic, he didn't come off the way Adm Arayuss described him. But he'd find out more about his personality when he met with him after the promotion ceremony that was being planned very soon.

Tony read over the PADD carefully where the Event Horizon's mission was outlined, and was very surprised by what he read! He had no idea that such a mission was even being considered, let alone actually going to be attempted. In his opinion it was extremely dangerous and the repercussions if the mission failed would be dire in the extreme.

RAdm Martinelli: Admiral Skyner, are you sure you want to attempt such a mission? It's extremely dangerous and if something goes wrong the Chief and the entire crew going with him could end up stranded there and be enslaved or even executed.

The Rear Admiral hoped he wasn't too blunt with his opinion, but FAdm Skyner did ask for his input and now he had it. He understood why the mission was important to the security of the Federation, but thought that perhaps using an unmanned probe would be a better idea. That way no actual lives would be at risk.

As Rex was going over the information on the PADD he was given by the Fleet Admiral, he heard RAdm Martinelli's input and agreed that it was a very dangerous mission. One that needed a squad of trained Marines to accompany them into the parallel universe.

MGen Alderez: I agree with Admiral Martinelli about it being a dangerous, high stakes mission. I would like to send a squad of trained Marines to accompany them, I will select them myself if you don't mind.

The Fleet Marine Force Commandant felt that his opinion mattered or he wouldn't have been invited to attend this meeting with all the other Administrative Officers of Gamma Fleet. Rex knew exactly which Marines should board the Event Horizon and secure the crew and their mission with absolute certainty.
