Hearing that his crew has reported in, he got up from his desk in his Ready Room and exited out to the Bridge. He crossed over to the CO's chair and sat down looking at the center console that was displaying pertinent system information. He looked over to the XO and smiled.

Como Carpathia: What's our status, Number One?

He waited for his XO to respond.

David returned the CO's smile and responded.

Cmdr Calzada: We're just waiting on the Professor, once he's aboard we can launch when you're ready.

He looked down at the console between them to check on the systems as well.

He nodded to the XO as he responded.

Como Carpathia: Excellent, I have our Yeoman down at the gangway entrance waiting to escort him to his quarters, then to meet with me in the Briefing Room.

E.J. continued monitoring the systems that were coming online.

Zac sat in anticipation as the crew reported onto the bridge. He nodded to the XO as he exited onto the bridge, and tapped at his console, finishing sifting through the last reports.

When he had finished, he leaned back in his chair with a sigh. Looking to the CO and XO, he made his final report before launch.

Lt. Waters: We're ready to go, Sirs. Engines are perfect, power distribution is perfect. We can handle just about anything. Ellis trained his staff well.

He waited for a response.

The CO looked over towards Lt. Waters and responded with a smile.

He returned his attention to the center console.

Professor Brewer came aboard and was immediately met by Ensign Panettiere.

Prof Brewer: Ensign Panettiere, it is my pleasure to see you and I give my congratulations to you for your fine performance while on your last mission. I am told that you will escort me to my quarters and will inform Commodore Carpathia that I am on board.

He waited for the Ensign to respond and take appropriate action.

He smiled at the Professor and responded.

Ens Panettiere: Thank you, Professor. I'll show you to your quarters before bringing you to the Commodore.

As he lead the Professor to his VIP quarters on Deck 3, he contacted the CO to let him know the Professor was aboard.

Ens Panettiere: Yeoman Panettiere to Commodore Carpathia, Professor Brewer is aboard, I'm escorting him to his quarters now.

As they walked together he listened to hear if the CO had any further instructions.

The CO heard the Yeoman's message about the Professor being aboard and responded.

Como Carpathia: Acknowledged, see to his needs Yeoman. I'll let you know when to escort him to the Briefing Room.

He then turned to the XO and smiled.

Como Carpathia: Number One, if you would be so kind as to get us underway, I would appreciate it.

He turned and faced forward to observe Infiniti's departure.

VIP Quarters

As they reached the VIP quarters on Deck 3, he heard the CO acknowledge the Professor's arrival, and to see to his needs. The Yeoman entered the quarters first as the Professor followed. The VIP quarters aboard Infiniti were one of the finest ever designed. It was spaceous and well as luxurious. He showed the Professor where the Replicator was, and the lavatory also.

Ens Panettiere: This is where you will be staying Professor, I hope these quarters are satisfactory. If there is anything you need, do not hesitate to ask, it's my duty to see to them.

He stood there smiling at the Professor as he looked around the room.

Bridge

He smiled at the CO, and called out to Lt. Trylon.

Cmdr Calzada: Mr. Trylon, inform Space Dock Traffic Control that we're ready to launch. Clear the moorings and the gangway.

The XO waited on the response from Ops. Before giving any other orders.
