Hearing what LtCmdr Delgado said, E.J. turned towards Lt. Trylon and instructed him to disengaged the Tractor Beam that was holding the SS Kankakee in tow.

Como Carpathia: Mr. Trylon, release Kankakee to Starbase 34. Mr. Delgado, take us to our berth as soon as we're cleared by Dock Traffic Control.

The CO relaxed in his chair as he waited for Infiniti to dock within it's berth inside Starbase 34.

William did as the Commodore asked and released the Tractor Beam that was holding Kankakee behind Infiniti.

Lt. Trylon: Aye, Sir. Kankakee has been released.

He rusumed monitoring the Ops Station as they approached Starbase 34. Also on his mind was thinking of something to do with Kestra when they went on leave together.

Jared had never logged so much time on the Bridge before. He found everything that was going on very interesting. Down on the TAC/SEC console, he saw that SB34 had engaged their Tractor Beam on Kankakee.

Ens D'Shoua: Kankakee has been secured in a Tractor Beam by Starbase 34, Commodore.

Jared continued his observation of the activities on the Bridge as they got even closer to SB34. He was able to see the giant Space Doors opening on the Main Viewer, and was very impressed. In all his time in Starfleet, he had never actually seen that before.

The Commodore heard from the officers at the stations behind him and responded to them both.

Como Carpathia: Thank you, Lieutenant. Thank you, Ensign. Mr. Delgado, decelerate to Maneuvering Thrusters and take us inside.

E.J. took note that Ensign D'Shoua was doing very well at the TAC/SEC Station, and that he would bring that up to Admirals Arayuss and Martinelli in regard to keeping Jared as Infiniti's Chief Tac/Sec Officer and promoting him accordingly.

Kestra gave a warm hearted smile as she entered and watched was happening on the Bridge. She moved to stand next to the Commanding Officer's chair. She took a joyful sigh as she looked up at the Viewscreen. Although, there was part of her that was sad for the ones that was lost during the mission. Kestra looked over at Commodore Carpathia.

Lt. JG Elbrun: About time we are heading home. Although, I do feel sorry for Samantha's family and the other families who's officers were also lost. Perhaps I could help you with the letters, Sir.

Kestra was more than willing to help anyone who was going through the grieving process. Including the ones that are on the ship. It is, after all, her duty as a ship's Counselor to help anyone through this process.

E.J. looked up towards Kestra and nodded as he responded to her.

Como Carpathia: Thank you, Counselor. I really would appreciate your help. It's a very difficult task for a CO to write even one of those letters. But to write fifty-seven...

The CO drifted off as he thought about the lives that would be forever changed by the deaths that took place on this mission. There was just so many of them. It was very hard for him to think about.

Al?jandro watched the opening of the Space Doors on the Main Viewscreen, and once they were fully opened he proceeded forward using the Maneuvering Thrusters.

Lt. Commander Delgado: Aye, Commodore. Taking us inside now.

He used the controls at his console to bring Infiniti inside SB34 through the large opening the Space Doors made when they were open. Following along the lighted path on the deck of the Space Dock.

William watched the Main Viewer as they entered the Starbase, and in a matter of moments he saw that Dock Traffic Control was hailing them.

Lt. Trylon: Dock Traffic Control is hailing us, Commodore.

He waited on the CO before responding or placing them on speakers so that they all could hear the conversation.

E.J. returned from the downward spiral of his emotions and responded to the Ops Officer.

Como Carpathia: On speakers, Lieutenant.

The CO waited on hearing Dock Traffic Control's hail over the speakers. He knew it was procedure to clear the ship to it's berth, but he enjoyed the last few moments of bringing a vessel home.

William tapped the Communication panel so that the incoming hail could be heard over the speakers on the Bridge.

SB34: Infiniti, this is Dock Traffic Control. You have been cleared for entry, please remain on the lighted path to your assigned berth.

The Lieutenant waited on the Commodore to reply to SB34 before closing the opened channel.
