E.J. perked up as he replied to the hail, it was one of the final steps to bringing his ship and crew home.

Como Carpathia: Dock Traffic Control, this is Infiniti. Acknowledged. Proceeding to our assigned berth.

The CO waited on their closing reply. He knew there was much excitement brewing below decks amongst the crew to disembark and be with their families.

William remained alert at the Ops Station while the conversation between the Commodore and SB34 concluded.

SB34: Acknowledged Infiniti, Starbase 34 welcomes you home. Dock Traffic Control out.

William closed the channel once the conversation ended and waited on anything else the CO might order him to do before they docked.

E.J. was much more elevated in his emotions as Infiniti moved closer to it's berth inside the giant Space Dock within SB34.

Como Carpathia: Alright, Mr. Delgado! Take us to our berth and secure moorings and the gangway. Once that's done, Number One, shut down all main systems, and take the Warp Core offline. It's closing time.

The Commodore smiled at his First Officer as he relished in the fact that indeed his ship was now back home for the time being.

Al?jandro maneuvered Infiniti the remaining distance down the entry path, and veered towards their assigned berth. As the vessel gracefully came alongside the dock, he slowed Infiniti to a full and complete stop. Next, he signaled the berth attendants to secure the moorings and the Main Gangway Hatch to the hull of the ship. Once that was complete, Al?jandro reported it to the Commodore.

Lt. Commander Delgado: We've docked, Commodore. Gangway and moorings have been secured.

He began the shutdown procedure of his console, and all flight systems. His work here was complete. Infiniti was home. Al?jandro breathed a sigh of relief as he relaxed in his chair.

David heard the update from the Conn Station and made the announcement to the rest of the officers on the Bridge.

Cmdr Calzada: Bridge crew, secure your stations and shut them down.

He then called out to Infiniti's Engine Room the remaining instructions.

Cmdr Calzada: Engineering, take the Warp Core offline and shut down all primary systems.

The XO smiled back at the CO, pleased as well that they've made it back to SB34. He couldn't wait to be dismissed so that he could enjoy some well deserved time off. This mission was by far, one of the worst he experienced.

The Commodore sat there a moment and gathered his thoughts before he stood up to address the entire crew. As he stood, he tapped the companel that activated the shipwide address system.

Como Carpathia: This is Commodore Carpathia. We've docked at Starbase 34, and you are all dismissed once your onboard duties are complete. I am putting in for an extended shore leave considering Infiniti is in need of repairs. This mission was a difficult one, but we completed it successfully, and not without our own share of loss. Rest well and enjoy the time off, you all deserve it. Carpathia out.

Upon finishing the announcement the Commodore walked to his Ready Room and entered. He walked over to his desk and began his final report on the mission. It was one that he was sure to remember for a very long time.
