Welcome aboard the U.S.S. ORISKANY:

I'm Captain Sean P. Reich, the Commanding Officer (CO) of ORISKANY. My Executive Officer (XO) is Commander James L. Kee. Come join us on our exploration of the Gamma Quadrant!

Current Mission

The USS ORISKANY was sent to investigate the disappearance of several civilian vessels that have gone missing between Sector Epsilon and Starbase 34. Fleet analysts suspect marauders of some kind. Only one distress signal was received from any of the missing ships, and that was on Stardate 238103.13.

The USS ORISKANY has located the missing vessels in decaying orbits around a Class J planet in Sector Epsilon.  An investigation of the abandoned vessels indicated that several cocoon-like shells were found aboard.  Captain Harris retrieved the Away Team and used the Tractor Beam to bring the ships to safer orbits while awaiting the arrival of USS WHITESTAR to assist with securing the area.  While the Away Team was aboard the SS MARIPOSA they retrieved a survivor who informed them of the hostile Intruders that overran their vessel.  Upon their return the Chief Engineer was found unconscious and beamed directly to Sickbay where Lt. Commander Mitchell's body swelled into a cocoon-like flesh pod and burst open with an Intruder!  While attempting to expel the hostile alien from the ship, Captain Harris lost her life, leaving command of ORISKANY to Captain Sean P. Reich.  As more of the Intruders came aboard, Captain Reich gave the order to abandon ship and after making sure everyone was off he boarded the Captain's Yacht along with Commander James L. Kee (XO), Dr. Dragana Jovic (CMO), Lt. Michaelangelo A. Boffi (OPS) and the survivor of SS MARIPOSA.  Together they await the arrival of USS INFINITI to deliver the new weapons developed to take back their Starship.
