Sickbay

He scanned Sander before waking him to be sure his spinal injury was properly healed.

Lt. Sarrlak: Mr. Sander? It's Dr. Sarrlak, how are you feeling?

He waited to see if Sander could respond.

He heard the Doctor's voice through the fog in his head and responded as best he could.

Lt. JG Sander: Like I was thrown against a wall of rock.

He opened his eyes and saw that he was in Sickbay, aboard Infiniti.

Lt. JG Sander: How did I get here?

Dylan looked around and saw Lt. Trylon on the next BioBed, with Counselor Elbrun by his side.

Dr. Sarrlak reponded in the typical Vulcan manner.

Lt. Sarrlak: On a stretcher, Lieutenant. The Marines were sent to extract you with the rest of the Away Team when Counselor Elbrun sensed something was wrong from Lieutenant Trylon. When you arrived on Infiniti you were brought here and I treated you for your injuries...

Seeing that he was back to his inquisitive self, he added more.

Lt. Sarrlak: ...and you're now released.

He walked over to Lt. Trylon's BioBed and ran a medical scan over him to determine his current status.

Dylan got off the BioBed and took a few steps and looked over at the Counselor.

Lt. JG Sander: Counselor, what's the status of the ship? Where are we?

He looked at her for a response, to help him figure where he would need to report to.

Kestra looked over and smiled, responding with a bit a relief.

Lt. JG Elbrun: We're docked inside Starbase 34, Lieutenant. The mission was a success and we've returned home. The crew is on Shore Leave.

She smiled brightly, and returned to watching William recover.

Dylan smiled and replied immediately.

Lt. JG Sander: Then I'm late for Shore Leave! See you all later, I'm heading for the base.

He exited Sickbay and went quickly to his quarters and packed a bag and made his way to the gangway entrance and continued down into the Observation Lounge that looked out towards Infiniti. He stopped briefly to look at the vessel

Lt. JG Sander: Mhmm, home away from home.

Then continued into SB34.

Sickbay

As he scanned Lt. Trylon and saw that the readings indicated that he would be fine, he informed the Counselor.

Lt. Sarrlak: Counselor, Lt. Trylon will be fine. He just needs more time before he wakes up. If you want to board Starbase 34, I will alert you when he awakens.

He waited on her response.

She looked over at the Doctor and shook her head and replied.

Lt. JG Elbrun: No, Doctor. I'm fine right where I am. I want to be here when he wakes up.

She continued to watch over William as he slept.

Sarrlak nodded and made a response before returning to his office.

Lt. Sarrlak: Understood, Counselor. If I am needed, I will be in my office.

He had other matters to attend to.

Engineering

As Ellis walked throughout Engineering with a sense of pride, he watched at the members of his staff made ready for some time on SB34.

Lt. Ellis: Just remember where we're parked everyone. I don't want to have to come get you off some other ship.

He laughed to himself, and he too, got ready to go over to the starbase for some Shore Leave. As he was finalizing the Engineering Efficiency Report, he noticed his assistant approaching somewhat sheepishly.

Lt. Ellis: What is it, Herschel?

He waited on the Ensign's response.

Ens Liebowitz: Sir, there's a message for you. Starbase 34 just got it, and transferred it directly to us here.

He took the PADD from the Ensign and read it out loud.

Lt. Ellis: To Lieutenant David Ellis, Chief Engineer, USS Infiniti yadda-yadda-yadda....from Starfleet Corps of Engineers...yadda-yadda...hereby grants your request to personally oversee your proposed project at the Utopia Planetia Facility, effective immediately!

He steadied himself for a moment, then yelled to his assistant.

Lt. Ellis: This is it Herschel! The big leagues! I'm going to have to tell the Captain! He's going to need a new Chief Engineer! I'm going to Mars to work on my project for Starfleet!

He gathered his things there in Engineering, and shook Ens Liebowitz's hand and headed out of Engineering, and over to the gangway and exited Infiniti to find the Captain.
