LtCmdr Little looked up at the name Infiniti and turned to the speaker.

Lt. Commander Little: I hear Infiniti is headed towards the Oriskany? Would you have a spare seat available, and how much would that cost?

Lewis chuckled to himself as he watched for her response.

Andrea laughed at the amusing question stated by the officer seated near them. It always made her happy when she came across somebody with a sense of humor.

Ens Russ: I'm sure there will be more than enough room for you, Sir. I am Ensign Andrea Russ, the Administrative Assistant to Admiral Arayuss. Would you like me to make arrangements for passage to Oriskany aboard Infiniti for you?

The Ensign remained in good spirits as she continued to drink the Altair Water that Lt. Graham graciously ordered for her. Andrea hoped the Lieutenant realized the offer had been extended to him as well.

Peter looked down at his empty cup of cappuccino. He realized that they probably wouldn't have a cappuccino that good at the Infiniti, but decided to go along with Infiniti anyways.

Lt. Graham: Okay, would you please inform Infiniti that I'll be joining them?

Peter rose from his seat.

Lt. Graham: I am guessing they'll want to head off as soon as possible, so I will get my stuff ready and head over to the airlock.

Peter gave a slight nod to Ens Russ and the Lt. Commander at the bar and then headed for the door.

Lewis nodded slightly as the Lieutenant left, and then turned to Russ.

Lt. Commander Little: I'm sure I can spare a few strips... Unless you would prefer something green?

He chuckled slightly as he winked.

Lt. Commander Little: I can spare a bottle or two if you wish.

Lewis surveyed Ensign Russ for a short while, trying to work out if she thought he was kidding as he sipped his drink.

Andrea nodded her acknowledgement to Lt. Graham as he stood up from the table to make for the door. It was her function to do as exactly what he asked.

Ens Russ: Consider it done, Lieutenant.

The Ensign turned to LtCmdr Little and laughed at his great sense of humor. Andrea knew this was an officer she could get along with well.

Ens Russ: Oh Commander, you're too much. I'll inform Infiniti that you'll be riding along to Oriskany as well. Admiral Arayuss will be aboard too, so you'll probably get to meet him. Hopefully I'll see you next time you're here on Starbase 34.

Rising up from the table she was seated at, Andrea smiled to the new officer she met and walked out of the Tavern to complete the task of alerting Infiniti to the two guest they'll be taking along with them to Sector Epsilon.

Lewis smiled widely at Ens Russ' acknowledgment and rose up himself. He called over the Bartender and spoke to him softly.

Lt. Commander Little: You will charge a case of 'Green' to my Starfleet Account. Send it to Ensign Russ with this note.

He deleted a PADD he would no longer need and began to note it down.

To: Ensign Andrea Russ
From: Lt. Commander Lewis A.Y. Little
Subject: Payment

And you thought I was kidding? Find enclosed one case.

Lewis then handed the PADD to bartender.

Lt. Commander Little: Make sure she gets this before the Infiniti arrives, please.

He nodded at the bartender before returning to his guest quarters to pack.

Lt. JG Darsyn Syntranos entered the Tavern and only payed partial attention to where he went. It was amazing how he didn't bump into anyone or anything. His eyes were metaphorically stuck to the PADDs he was reading. Being the new Assistant TSO was both exciting and nerve wracking, expecially on a ship like Whitestar, his next assignment.

Darsyn sat down at the bar and asked the Bartender for a stiff drink. He didn't want to get drunk on his frst day, but he needed something to help him relax too. Especially if he was going to be reading schematics and everything else he could get about Whitestar. Lt. JG Syntranos wanted to make a good first impression, unlike the last time when he bumped into his last Commanding Officer on his first day, as he rounded a corner on a hunt for a Turbolift. Darsyn knocked her on her butt and he fell into the wall. The only thing that saved him was her having a sense of humor.

He kind of smiled at the memory. It was funny now, but then he avoided the CO for three days not wanting a repeat of the event.

As the Lieutenant retrained his thoughts toward his work, he took a sip of the drink he had ordered. Even though Darsyn had a stack of PADDs, he wouldn't have minded a break from it all should someone want to strike up a conversation....

After getting herself settled in to the family quarters, Kira decide to take a walk and explore Starbase 34. She decide to go to the Galleria Level to check on the develoipment of her store, Kira's Kreations. In Kira's exploration, she come across Thom's Tavern and entered to see if there are any locals to meet since she's new to the Starbase.

Kira took a seat at the bar a few seats away from what she thinks is a Starfleet Officer. She ordered a whiskey and Diet Coke and made some small talk with the Bartender.

Kira Marino: What is there to do around here that is fun?

She noticed the Bartender wadn't interested in talking to her, so she moved a few seats over and introduced herself to the gentlemen who looked like a Starfleet Officer, who was concentating on his PADDs.

Kira Marino: Hello, I'm Kira. I have a shop down in the Galleria Level called Kira's Kreations. Are you in Starfleet?

While waiting on the gentleman to reply, Kira continued sipping her drink and looking around the interior of Thom's Tavern. It definitely had a friendly atmosphere, even if the Bartender didn't seem to be too friendly.

Darsyn looked up at the woman who had sat down next to him. She was looking around the bar as if it were her first time at such a place. He sat his PADD down and picked up his drink, took a sip, then smiled at the woman. He didn't need his Betazoid talents to tell him she wanted someone to talk to.

Lt. JG Syntranos: Lieutenant Junior Grade Darsyn Syntranos, Ma'am. I'm the new Assistant Security Chief of the Whitestar. Or I will be as soon as it gets here. So, you say you own a shop? What do you sell? I have a sister that loves to shop.

He took another sip of his drink as he waited for her answer.

Lieutenant JG Nick Tyler entered the Tavern, looking around slowly as he entered. His nerves were on edge, since the USS Oriskany, his newest assignment, was out and he was not on it, and he didnt know many people here. Externally, he kept some semblance of a straight face.

Tyler proceeded up to the bar, straightening out his jacket as he crossed the room to the nearest empty seat, near another Starfleet officer and a civilian. Tyler ran a hand through his dark blonde hair as he sat down, finally getting the Bartender's attention to place his order for a pepper vodka and a normal 'ol cola soda, whatever they had.

He took another sigh, idly wishing he had brought his PADD to continue work on one of his novels.
