Main Engineering - Deck 15

Rex walked behind the Warp Core to where 1Lt. Lopez was standing and saw the Flesh Pods. The General shook his head as he put his hand on 1Lt. Lopez's shoulder and spoke.

MGen Alderez: If I get infected by one of those damn things, I want somebody to kill me before I end up like one of these poor people. I'll be damned before I'm used as a Deltauran egg.

As he stood there with the 1st Lieutenant, he heard a response from Adm Arayuss over his Combadge.

Adm Arayuss: Well General, here's the options available. You and the squad can return immediately to Infiniti, or...find some functioning replicators and make yourselves some sammiches while waiting for the crew of Whitestar to return, and then come back to Infiniti.

Rex smiled at the Admiral's sense of humor, but looking down at the Flesh Pods there behind the Warp Core he felt it would be better off for the Marines to return to Infiniti now. Sitting around eating sammiches with Flesh Pods within the interior of Whitestar made the idea less appetizing.

MGen Alderez: If it's all the same to you, Admiral. I think we'll just head back to Infiniti now and get some sammiches over there. Alderez out.

The General raised his voice so all the Marines in Main Engineering could hear him.

MGen Alderez: Marines, let's get back to the ISSCV, our job here is done!

Rex started down the corridor and began the trip back to the Flight Deck where their ISSCV was waiting for them. The Marines followed behind Rex as they kept their weapons ready just in the unlikely event of a Deltauran surprise.

Deck 12

As the Marines continued towards the Bow Shuttlebay, the Sarge kept an eye out for anything that didn?t belong. But thankfully there was nothing to be seen, other than an occasional Fleshpod in a corridor where a Whitestar crewmember lost their life. In a short amount of time they arrived on the Flightdeck of the Shuttlebay where the ISSCV was waiting for them. Cody turned back towards the squad and addressed them.

GSgt Arbor: Alright Marines! Let?s get ourselves inside and seated so we can get back to Infiniti! It?s time to leave this ship to it?s crew!

The squad did as the Sergeant told them and got themselves inside the ISSCV and into their seats as they waited on MGen Alderez, 1Lt. Lopez, and 2Lt. Parra to get themselves situated while Sgt Ferro and Pvt1 Spunkmeyer got the ISSCV ready for departure. It wasn?t long before they were leaving USS Whitestar and on their way back to Infiniti.

Bow Shuttlebay - Deck 12

As the shuttle touched down on the Flight Deck of Whitestar, Treasar breathed a sigh of relief as he looked at the interior and saw no structural damage. They passed the Marines aboard the ISSCV heading for Infiniti and Capt Adonis was very pleased to be back aboard his vessel. As more shuttles arrived, the Captain exited the shuttle along with his senior officers.

Capt Adonis: We need to get to the Bridge and coordinate the return of the crew, so let's get a move on. Commander, I would like a damage report as soon as possible.

The Captain patted Cmdr Ashborn on the shoulder before making his way to the Bridge. It felt like he hadn't been there in years and it was sure going to feel good to be back!

Chase nodded towards the Captain as they walked down the corridor towards the Turbolift.

Cmdr Ashborn: I'll get right on that Captain.

It felt good to be back aboard Whitestar, where his presence was appreciated.

Jacques walked with the senior staff out of the shuttle and remained close to Dr. Brewer, so they could talk on their way to Sickbay.

Ens Tudismaque: I hope Sickbay wasn't damaged by the Deltaurans while they were aboard the ship. If so, we'll have to start on repairs right away.

The Ensign looked up at Dr. Brewer to see if he had anything to add as they walked back to where they worked together.

Deck 12

Dr. Brewer was happy to have Assistant Medical Officer, Ensign Jacques Tudismaque, with him again as they made their way through USS Whitestar toward Sickbay. He had the same thoughts as Jacques had about possible damage to Sickbay.

Lt. Commander Brewer: I agree with you Jacques, in hoping that Sickbay wasn't damaged. I think Captain Adonis plans to ask Commander Ashburn for a full damage report of Whitestar. He may have already done so and I'm sure this will include the Sickbay area.

The Doctor continued speaking as they walked together.

Lt. Commander Brewer: Our task will be to inventory and determine what medical supplies and equipment will have to be eliminated and destroyed. We wouldn't want to keep and use anything that may have been contaminated, either intentionally or accidentally, by the Deltaurans. I'm sure Admiral Arayuss will give us permission to replace anything that seems unusable.

Dr. Brewer could see that Jacques fully agreed with this plan of action. As the Doctor and Ensign Tudismaque continued their way toward Sickbay, they didn't see any structural damage to Whitestar and their hopes began to rise that there would be no serious damage inside Sickbay.

Sickbay - Deck 8

The Ensign entered Sickbay with Dr. Brewer and was pleased to observe there was no damage to be seen. It was in the condition it was left in when they abandoned Whitestar.

Ens Tudismaque: We're in luck, Doctor! The Deltaurans must've never made to Sickbay! We can inspect everything just to be certain, but I've got a feeling Sickbay is just fine.

Jacques smiled as he began examining the equipment and supplies. He was thrilled they didn't lose anything to the Deltauran's occupation of their vessel. It would only be a short amount of time before everything was checked and accounted for.

Bridge - Deck 1

The XO entered the Bridge and went directly to his station and began his task of gathering the information the CO asked for in the form of a damage report. While compiling the data Chase had available from the ship's computer, he also tapped his Combage to address the crew.

Cmdr Ashborn: Attention all members of the Senior Staff, I need a status report from all of you as soon as possible assessing any damage and repair time needed for your department. Commander Ashborn out.

The First Officer waited on the Senior Staff to either communicate with him directly or through his console in the form of a status report so he could supply it to the Captain as soon as it was all completed.

Main Engineering - Deck 15

Thom walked around Main Engineering and surveyed his department so he could provide the XO with an accurate report on the status of Whitestar's propulsion systems. After talking with his Engineering staff, he tapped his Combadge to report to Cmdr Ashborn.

Lt. Commander Cypher: Cypher to Commander Ashborn, Main Engineering just needs to be cleaned up but there's no damage to any of our systems. We're working on getting it straightened up and will be ready to go within the hour. Warp Core will be back online as well.

The Chief Engineer monitored the start up sequence of the Warp Core and made sure everything was within operating parameters. The Engineering staff worked together with the removal of the Flesh Pods that remained behind after a Deltauran used a crew member's body to enter our realm.

Bridge - Deck 1

When the XO heard the report from LtCmdr Cypher, he tapped his Combadge to reply to the Chief Engineer.

Cmdr Ashborn: Good work, Mr. Cypher. Keep me posted.

Chase noted the information on his PADD for the Captain's report he hoped to have ready shortly. He continued to wait for the other member's of the Senior Staff to report in.
