Briefing Room

The XO was glad to see Ajay get his promotion, but was somewhat concerned about the upcoming mission. The ship's repairs wouldn't take too long for it to be operational, but the damage to Deck 5 was still considerd to be severe.

Cmdr Kee: I'll get the repair estimates you need, Captain. But the damage to Deck 5 would need the facilities of Starbase 34 to complete.

James looked around the room at the other officers the CO addressed, and it appeared that he heard from everyone he gave orders to. The Commander wondered what the Captain had in store for them next.

Sean looked around the room to address any additional concerns. When there wasn't any, he finally spoke.

Capt Reich: If there are no other questions or matters that need to be addressed, you're all dismissed.

The Captain stayed seated until he was sure that everything was addressed.

The Doctor watched as the other officers stood up from their chairs and left the Briefing Room. She then got up herself and leaned down towards Sean and spoke gently to him.

Lt. Commander Jovic: I'll be down in Auxiliary Sickbay getting it ready for whatever comes next. If you need me, that's where I'll be.

Dragana placed her hand on the Captain's shoulder as she leaned back up and exited the Briefing Room. She made her way down to Auxiliary Sickbay and made the necessary preparations for the upcoming mission.

Bridge - Deck 1

James surveyed the Bridge and observed the crew working at their stations completing the tasks Capt Reich gave them. They were working like a well oiled machine which made the XO very proud of them all.

Cmdr Kee: You?re all doing a really good job and I?m proud to be serving with all of you.

The Commander accessed his terminal and started working on the repair estimates for the Captain. That way they?d be ready when Capt Reich returned to the Bridge.

Briefing Room - Deck 1

Sean got up from the chair and headed towards the door to go back on the Bridge. He stood there for a second, just watching everyone on the Bridge doing their work before heading to his chair.

Capt Reich: James, I have no idea what we're in for, and I can't guarantee a ship that is going to be 100% when everything goes down. I know that everyone is doing their best, and that's all I can ask for.

He stared out the Main Viewer at the ships that were lined up; wondering what those creatures are, and hoping that it's not going to be too hard to destroy their realm...or come to some kind of peace with them.

Bridge - Deck 1

James nodded in agreement with what Capt Reich stated to him. Everyone was doing their best and he knew the ship would be repaired as best it could within the time allotted.

Cmdr Kee: I understand, Captain. If you feel the ship will be a hindrance to the mission, maybe we should inform the Admiral that we cannot proceed into the Deltauran Realm with them.

The XO waited on the Captain's reply, for it would be the deciding factor on whether they remained here in Sector Epsilon or returned to SB34 for repairs. Whichever the CO decided, James knew that he would support him.

While Sean sat in his chair on the Bridge, his mind wandered for what seemed like a year, going over different scenarios on how the upcoming events would play out. But the CO snapped back when he heard what Cmdr Kee had said.

Capt Reich: By all means, we're going on this mission. I don't feel Oriskany will be any kind of hindrance. We've got some of the best officers and crew in Starfleet aboard this vessel so we'll get the ship as close to 100% as possible before we go.

The Captain remained in his chair and watched over the officers on the Bridge, doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. He was proud of every single one of them. They would be ready to face whatever Adm Arayuss' mission asked of them all.

The XO understood the Captain's sentiment towards the crew and was happy they were going on the Admiral's mission. The Deltaurans killed Capt Harris, and for that they deserved to be annihilated!

Cmdr Kee: I agree, Captain. We do have some of the best officers and crew aboard, and I know they'd want the opportunity to assist in a resolution with the Deltaurans, whether it be peaceful or result in their destruction.

James took his seat on the Bridge and awaited status reports from all the senior staff members of Oriskany's crew. He wanted to make sure everyone was ready so when it was time to disembark for the Deltauran Realm, they would be at their best.

Peter completed the calibration of the ship's Phasers from the Tactical/Security Station on the Bridge. By having LtCmdr Little make the modifications from Engineering, it made the task a lot easier for him.

Lt. Graham: Commander, the calibration of our Phasers is complete.

The Chief Tac/Sec Officer was looking forward to their next encounter with the Deltaurans. Bringing the fight to them for a change will be a great way to show that the messed with the wrong people!

James looked over towards the Tactical/Security Station manned by Lt. Graham and nodded in appreciation as he spoke to the Lieutenant.

Cmdr Kee: Good work, Lieutenant! Thank you!

The XO was pleased that their Phasers were modified and calibrated so they could be used against the Deltaurans when the time came.
