The Vulcan Science Officer quickly moved over to the Captain to check his vital statistics, to his stoic dismay, Capt Adonis was dead. Other officers around the Bridge were injured as well. He looked to Cmdr Ashborn who was still at the Sec/Tac Station with a wound on his forehead that appeared to need medical attention, as did the other officers on the Bridge as well.
Lt. Commander Skonch:
Commander, the Captain is dead. What are your orders, Sir.
Skonch took out the first aid kit and began administering treatment to the Commander's forehead. It seemed his head impacted the edge of the console he was stationed at. Afterwards, he began to examine the rest of the crew on the Bridge and offer treatment to them too. All of the consoles on the Bridge seemed to be out and he tapped his Combadge to contact Sickbay.
Lt. Commander Skonch:
Bridge to Sickbay, medical emergency. The Captain has received a fatal injury and is not responding.
There was no reply from Dr. Brewer, so he called out to the computer.
Lt. Commander Skonch:
Computer, locate Doctor Brewer.
There was no response from the ship's computer either, that meant that the Bridge's systems were completely offline, including communications. This meant their Chief Engineer was now charged with assisting the situation they were all currently in. _________________

The Ensign nodded to Dr. Brewer and grabbed a Medkit off the shelf in Sickbay and tapped his Combadge to call the Bridge. Jacques wanted to make sure he didn't need to bring anything else with him.
Ens Tudismaque:
Sickbay to Bridge, I'm on my way to assist with medical needs, what's your casualty status?
There was no reply. This worried the Asst Medical Officer so he asked the computer what was happening on the Bridge.
Ens Tudismaque:
Computer, what's the status of the Bridge?
Whitestar-Com:
Bridge systems offline, Deck One communication is not operational.
Ens Tudismaque:
Can you initialize a site to site Transport from Sickbay to the Bridge?
Whitestar-Com:
Negative, Transporters are offline.
Jacques thought about another course of action to take to get to the Bridge as he quickly left Sickbay. He knew there was an emergency access hatch on the floor of the Bridge, but he had to hope he could reach it. Continuing in a hurry he went to the Turbolift and took it to Deck 2. The Ensign went down the debris filled corridor and found the access ladder to the Bridge, which he quickly scurried up and opened the hatch to the Bridge. The interior was dimly lit by the backup batteries and none of the console displays were illuminated. He climbed onto the Bridge deck and saw the body of Capt Adonis. Jacques was stunned at the horrible sight of the metal shard impaling the Captain. Quickly he used the Medical Tricorder to take the CO's vitals but nothing was detected, he was truly dead. The Ensign looked over and saw LtCmdr Skonch giving first aid to the injured members of the Bridge crew, while Cmdr Ashborn was holding a gauze to his head as he sat by the Tac/Sec Station.
Ens Tudismaque:
I cannot do anything for the Captain, Commander, he's gone. I'm very sorry.
The Asst Medical Officer checked the injury on the XO's head and saw that LtCmdr Skonch has did a fine job treating it. He figured Cmdr Ashborn needed an update on their situation so he filled him in on what happened.
Ens Tudismaque:
We're at Warp, Commander. Infiniti has us in their Tractor Beam. I know we're heading back to Starbase 34 and we were victorious against the Deltaurans. Both Warp Cores were used to incinerate them when detonated. Doctor Brewer is in Sickbay treating crew members with radiation burns and they're doing well, he sent me here to check on all of you when we heard the Bridge had been hit. Communications are out up here or I would've notified you that I was making a house call.
Jacques used the Hypospray to inject the Executive Officer with a compound that would help relieve him of the pain from the injury to his head, as well as assist with the XO's ability to focus on what was happening. _________________
