David nodded to the Captain and called out to the Chief Engineer.
Cmdr Calzada:
Bridge to Engineering, Lt. Ellis the Captain wishes to speak with you in the Briefing Room.
He continued studying the schematic on the center console as he awaited an acknowledgement from the Chief Engineer. _________________

Ellis was monitoring the main engineering systems when he heard the voice of the XO through the internal communications. He stood up and responded.
Lt. Ellis:
I'm on my way.
He looked at his assistant who was wiping down the displays to ensure their brightness, and informed him of the situation.
Lt. Ellis:
Ensign Liebowitz, I'm needed by the Captain. The engine room is yours. Keep it clean...
He smiled and exited the doors and proceeded to the Bridge by Turbo Lift. Upon his arrival he entered the Bridge and smiled to the officers who looked in his direction, and he entered the Briefing Room. The CO was sitting at the far end of the table, on the main display was an unusual schematic that he had never seen before.
Lt. Ellis:
I'm here per your request, Captain.
He stood there awaiting a reply. _________________

The CO welcomed the Chief Engineer after he spoke.
Capt Carpathia:
Thank you for coming, Lieutenant. I have sort of a project for you. If you're interested?
He looked at Ellis' face and knew to continue.
Capt Carpathia:
Displayed there is a Harmonic Resonance Chamber, built by the ex-Borg drone Annika Hansen, who was aboard Voyager on it's way back from the Delta Quadrant. That is a containment vessel for the Omega molecules they came into contact with while they were out there. What are the chances of you building such a device so that the Science Department aboard Infiniti can get a chance to study them up close?
He sat back and looked at Lt. Ellis and waited for his response. _________________

Lt. Ellis stood there amazed at what he was looking at. He was honored to be included in such a challenge. He could barely contain his excitement.
Lt. Ellis:
Captain, I'd have to say the chances are very good. I'll get started as soon as you wish.
Ellis awaited the Captain's reply. _________________

The CO smiled and responded as he stood from his seat and handed a PADD to Lt. Ellis.
Capt Carpathia:
I would like you to start right away. Here is the data I obtained from Starfleet regarding the chamber she constructed on Voyager. Use all the personnel you need from any department necessary. I would like the chamber ready by the time we reach our destination.
He stood there waiting on the Chief Engineer's response. _________________

He took the PADD from the Captain and replied.
Lt. Ellis:
You'll have it, Sir. We'll begin immediately. Is there anything else to add to this challenge?
Ellis stood there smiling, waiting for his reply. _________________

The CO laughed and responded as he walked Lt. Ellis to the doors of the Briefing Room.
Capt Carpathia:
I think that about covers it, Lieutenant. Keep me posted on your progress.
He exited the Briefing Room with the Chief Engineer and extended his hand.
Capt Carpathia:
Thank you for your assistance in this situation, Mr. Ellis. It is greatly appreciated.

He reached out and shook the Captain's hand respectfully.
Lt. Ellis:
You're very welcome, Sir. The pleasure is mine.
He took the PADD and returned to the Turbo Lift and went straight back to Main Engineering, where he seen that Ens Liebowitz was doing a fine job of keeping the department running to the standard he set.
Lt. Ellis:
Ensign Liebowitz, we have things to discuss...
He began showing the assistant engineer the schematics on the chamber and explaining the purpose behind it. They used the main display on the Engineering console to begin the process of creating a construct model within the computer. They moved with a sense of purpose. _________________

The CO returned to his seat on the Bridge and leaned over to the XO and spoke softly.
Capt Carpathia:
We've got the ball rolling, Number One. Mr. Ellis has taken on the task and will be reporting his progress along the way. Very good suggestion indeed.
Judging by the smile on David's face, he knew that his XO was pleased. Together they watched the stars streaking by on the main viewer, exhilerated by the approaching possibility of obtaining an Omega molecule for study by Infiniti's Science Department. _________________

Diandra worked through most of the files updating them, most them weren't major updates just a few. Hours passed by, but then again she knew it was going to be lengthy.
Somehow, I feel I shall be kept busy here.
She thought to herself, her years of training came in handy in times like these. When her "self" would want to break out of the mold.
Although hard at times she knows its best to keep her discipline sharp.
