Going over all of the medical files on the crew, Jacques realized it was time for the first briefing of the mission. Closing out his terminal, the young Doctor made his way out of Sickbay and over to the Turbolift on Deck 3 and proceeded up to Deck 1 and walked quickly down the corridor to the Conference Room. Upon entering, Dr. Tudismaque was greeted by a barrage of explosive flatulence! Jacques looked over at Capt Little, MCpt Lopez and Ens Jo'Kla, wondering what was going on? The sounds were somewhat muffled, so he surmised it was coming from the Lavatory...

Lt. JG Tudismaque: Good thing I'm here, sounds like somebody in there needs a doctor!

The Doctor walked away from the entrance and over to where MCpt Lopez was seated and took the seat across from him. Jacques had never met the Marine Detachment Commander before, but knew he was from Infiniti. As for Capt Little, he was aware that he was the Chief Engineer from Oriskany. Who he didn't know at all was the Yeoman, Ens Jo'Kla. Other than being a Klingon in Starfleet, the Doctor knew very little about him. The Yeoman's arrival was so sudden that his medical records were not included before they left SB34. Dr. Tudismaque would have to give him a physical sometime soon so the medical records of everyone aboard would be complete.

After finishing his movement , Thom washed his hands and exited the Lavatory feeling refreshed in the knowledge that what he had done could not have been helped. It would appear that the lobster tail from the night before was having it's revenge upon his insides. The XO regretted having it, knowing that he didn't digest seafood very well. But Thom sure did enjoy the taste and now he was paying for it. He hoped that would be the end of his tummy troubles as he walked into the Conference Room to see Capt Little, MCpt Lopez and Dr. Tudismaque staring at him. The XO became immediately self conscious about them possibly hearing the explosive diarrhea he just dealt with.

Cmdr Cypher: I'm sorry about the concert, the lobster tail really messed with me. I shouldn't have eaten it, but I really enjoyed the taste.

The Commander walked over to the Conference Table and took a seat next to the head of the table, where the CO sits and waited for others to arrive. There was no other way to feel at this moment but embarrassed. Thom did his best not to make eye contact with anyone while he sat at the table. The XO could still feel their eyes upon him for the audible overload of the senses he supplied them with. If Cmdr Cypher found out they could actually smell what was going on in the Lavatory, out an airlock he would send himself!

The Lieutenant JG secured the Science Station on the Bridge and exited the Command Center by walking down the corridor to the Conference Room. Jayden entered with a smile and noticed there was something about the air in the room that immediately caught his attention. The scent was fading, but was still somewhat foul.

Lt. JG DeGrazzio: Science Station all secure, Captain. If anything shows up on Sensors, Lieutenant Mitchell will be notified.

The Chief Science Officer thought about asking if anyone knew the origin of the foul odor that was fading away in the room, but decided against it since the scent had a wiff of bowels to it. Jayden figured somebody in the room either passed gas or used the Lavatory and the Lieutenant JG did not want to embarrass anyone.

Jamie looked at the chronometer and realized it was time to get to the Captain's Briefing in the Conference Room on Deck 1. He quickly secured the Engineering Station he was working at and walked quickly to the Turbolift and took it to Deck 1 and walked down the short corridor to the place where the briefing was taking place. The Petty Officer entered the room and greeted all those inside.

PO3 Florenté: Hi everybody, I hope you are all well. Engineering is purring like a kitten!

The Chief Engineer took a seat on the same side of the table as MCpt Lopez since he was from the lower decks as well. The Petty Officer was curious as to what the topic of the briefing was going to be about. Jamie sat there patiently and waited for others to arrive.

Now that everyone was starting to arrive, the Captain needed to think fast, no one should be embarrassing his XO, unless that person was the Captain...

Capt Little: Now, settle down everyone... Loose weevils are the least of our concerns right now... Doctor, I'd like you to work with Mr. Mitchell, reprogram the Holodeck's Biofiltration Systems to react to the conditions on the PADD I gave you earlier... Mr. Florenté, Jamie, you'll be up first, think of it as your final exams at the Academy... Depending on how you do, there may be some rewards in it for everyone!

The CO looked around at everyone seated as he waited for a few more people to arrive. He tapped the table's control panel and pulled up some statistics on the program.

Capt Little: As you can see, the program will attempt to teach you all a little something about interspactial intradimensional travel... But try not to get bogged down in the details, the practical exam will show us everything we need to know...

The Captain paused as the door opened once more, and he waited for the new arrivals to be seated.

Securing the Flight Control Station and exiting the Bridge to attend the briefing in the Conference Room, Ajay smiled as he walked by the Ops Station as he called out to LtCmdr Graham at the Sec/Tac Station. Once they exited the Command Center, Lt. Mitchell would be alone and running the show till they returned.

Lt. Commander Centares: Well Peter, it's time for the Captain's Briefing in the Conference Room. Time to leave the Bridge to Cole here. He'll be able to monitor the briefing from the Ops Station so he won't be left in the dark.

Ajay walked to the doors which opened to the corridor that lead to the Conference Room and waited for LtCmdr Graham to join him. Surely, Capt Little would be waiting on their arrival before beginning his briefing. The Lieutenant looked like he was a little nervous about taking over the Bridge by himself, but LtCmdr Centares knew that Capt Little wouldn't have left Cole in this position if he didn't have faith in his abilities.

Prof Brewer was relaxing in his favorite recliner rocker chair in his VIP cabin until it suddenly dawned on him that it was time to head to the Conference Room on Deck 1. He quickly changed into more formal clothes before heading out.

Lloyd left his quarters and made a mad dash down the way to the location the Captain's Briefing was taking place.

Entering the Conference Room, he was amazed at the number of his friends and co-workers already there. Lloyd waved to everyone and before taking his seat somewhere, he was enjoying wandering through the crowd and speaking briefly with each one.

Prof Brewer: Hello everyone, it's good to see all of you.

The Professor finally found a seat and it felt good to finally sit down and await for the proceedings to begin.

Peter logged out of the Sec/Tac Station and crossed the Bridge towards the doors that lead to the corridor where LtCmdr Centares was waiting for him. Together they walked to the Conference Room and entered, seeing they were the last two of the Senior Staff that needed to be in attendance. With Lt. Mitchell monitoring the meeting from his Ops Station on the Bridge, everyone was now able to listen to everything Capt Little had to say about the upcoming mission.

Lt. Commander Graham: Looks like we're all accounted for, Captain. Mr. Mitchell is monitoring the briefing from the Bridge, Sir.

The Chief Sec/Tac Officer waited on Capt Little to fill them in on why he called the meeting and what objectives he had for the mission they were on. Peter was excited about what they were about to do, he was just wondering why they were attempting to cross over into the Mirror Universe in the Gamma Quadrant. Surely if they wanted to spy on the Cardassian/Klingon/Bajoran Alliance, they should be in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a mystery he hoped the Captain would cover in the today's briefing.

The Captain looked around at his conglomeration of friends and colleagues before clearing his throat once more.

Capt Little: Well, as you can see, it's all been done before for us, by some random higher ups. So, I've decided that we could all do with some refresher courses. Chief Florenté, your program should already be queued up... I'm sure you will have as much fun as I did creating all of your Kobayashi Maru's...

The Captain looked around, and his gaze fell upon Prof Brewer.

Capt Little: Professor, I'm sure you're work on the Delatauran weaponry could be programmed in also. Since I'm unaware of the exact specifications, I felt I would bow to your superior knowledge.

Lewis smiled at the table's occupants and hoped he wasn't going over their heads too much.

The Chief Engineer looked over to Capt Little and was a little confused about what the Captain wanted him to do in the Holodeck. Jamie just wasn't sure about the program being ready for him on Deck 3, so he decided to risk his reputation and come out and ask Capt Little what was the meaning of the program.

PO3 Florenté: Captain, I don't mean to sound ignorant to you, Sir. But what exactly am I supposed to do on the Holodeck? I hope I didn't disappoint you, it's just that I've been pondering what am I meant to do down there on Deck 3?

The Petty Officer remained in his chair at the conference table and hoped he wasn't going to get laughed at by the rest of the Senior Staff seated around him. But most of all, he knew Capt Little had high aspirations for him and Jamie didn't want to throw that into the waste disposal unit by not understanding what was expected of him. So Petty Officer 3rd Class Florenté just had to get clarification from the Captain.
