Dylan was more than pleased to be in the presence of his lifelong buddy! While they waited together to hear from Capt Daqtorgh, the Lieutenant decided to speak up before the Captain and introduce himself so the CO could address the two of them at the same time, instead of separately.

Lt. Thomas: Hi there, Captain! I'm Lieutenant Dylan Thomas, your Chief Flight Control Officer! I'll be the guy who pilots the ship anywhere you want to go, Sir! If it's out there, I'll get you there, Captain!

The Chief Flight Control Officer of Whitestar waited beside his buddy, Lt. Mitchell, for Capt Daqtorgh to speak to them. Dylan wondered who the small boy was who was standing beside the Captain. The rank on his uniform was that of an Ensign, but he did not look like he could've completed four years of being a cadet at Starfleet Academy. This youngster must be part of the Star Cadet program like Lt. Panettiere was for the CO of Infiniti. The Lieutenant surmised the Ensign was most likely their new Yeoman. The boy had a friendly smile on his face, so Dylan reached out and shook the Yeoman's hand briskly with a happy go-lucky smile on his own face.

Daqtorgh saw the exuberant Lieutenants Mitchell and Thomas to whom he extended his hand and told them the same thing he told the other members of the Whitestar crew he met thus far.

Capt Daqtorgh: This is going be a different ship under my command, Lieutenants. There will be no actual alcohol aboard. This is not a booze cruise; officers will not be drunk on or off duty.

The Captain wondered if Lt. Thomas could pilot a KDF Negh’Var Class Warship or if he would ever want to.

Capt Daqtorgh: I will bring honor to this ship, we will bring honor to the crew and to the fleet. Enjoy your home coming, Lieutenant Mitchell. This little guy is Ensign Luis Garcia, our ship’s Yeoman. Fresh out of the Star Cadet training program where he scored the highest grades in his class which earned him the rank of Ensign, he will serve us well aboard Whitestar.

The Commanding Officer of Whitestar looked around as he stood with members of his crew when he noticed Adm Arayuss sitting beside Dr. Brewer, the Chief Medical Officer of Whitestar. Judging by their mannerisms, Daqtorgh could tell the Admiral gave the Doctor extremely bad news and they were grieving together. The Captain wanted to go over to his ship’s Doctor and express his condolences, but had a distinct feeling this was not the time. Perhaps a little later, Capt Daqtorgh would have the opportunity to express his feelings to Cmdr Brewer about the loss of his brother, Prof Brewer.

Aléjandro entered the Observation Lounge with Lt. Panettiere and searched for Como Carpathia. Once the Commodore was located, they walked over to speak with their CO together regarding what they heard about Prof Brewer. They heard the news from Lt. JG DeGrazzio and were deeply saddened by it. The Commander was the first to make friends with the Professor back when they communicated solely through the Intra-Gal-Com-Net. When Cmdr Delgado was very young, he lived on a freighter and the only way he could talk to his friends was through the network where he met Prof Brewer. This loss really affected him so when he spoke to Como Carpathia, Aléjandro held back the tears.

Cmdr Delgado: Commodore, do you know what happened to Lloyd? I heard from Jayden that their Klingon Yeoman was a saboteur from the Mirror Universe who poisoned the Professor and he died in his sleep. I’m telling you that if Jo’Kla didn’t kill himself, I would strangle the life out of that bastard! I hope he rots in Gre’Thor for all eternity with no chance of ever reaching Sto-vo-kor! If there’s going to be a strike mission against the people who orchestrated this, I want in!

The XO of Infiniti looked over at Lt. Panettiere who was not holding back his tears and seemed to need the comfort of a hug, which Aléjandro obliged. The loss of Lloyd was unbearable to Cmdr Delgado and he felt as if a part of his soul had died as well. There were so many others that knew the Professor as a close friend and would be feeling the same way. Aléjandro knew that if a team was needed to infiltrate the Mirror Universe to find out how this saboteur was able to infiltrate a mission that was supposed to be so clandestine that FAdm Skyner selected the crew of Event Horizon personally, there had to be a mole on their side for Jo’Kla to have easily managed to join the crew as a Yeoman.

Infiniti's Yeoman had tears streaming down his face while he listened to the XO talk to Como Carpathia. Jansen didn't know Prof Brewer as long as Cmdr Delgado, Adm Arayuss and the Commodore, but he did know Lloyd since he was 9 years old and losing the Professor hurt him beyond words.

Lt. Panettiere: Count me in too, Commodore! Losing the Professor is just too much to bear. Perhaps we should go over to Dr. Brewer when he's finished speaking with Admiral Arayuss and express our condolences on his loss. As bad as we all feel, the Doctor must feel even worse.

The Lieutenant remained with the Commodore and Commander while waiting to see what they would do next. Lloyd was like an Uncle to him and now he had a vacuum in his heart where the Professor used to be. The memories of all the time they spent together will be forever etched onto his soul and someday when they saw each other again, Jansen could fill him in on all he missed after his passing.

The Commodore nodded to both his XO and his Yeoman in agreement. The loss of Lloyd was indeed a tragedy that needed reparations. E.J. knew they couldn't launch Infiniti on a mission to go after an organization within the Mirror Universe since the ship lacked a Transdimensional Displacement Device they way Explorer did. If they were to go on such an endeavor, it would have to be aboard the Admiral's vessel.

Como Carpathia: I feel the same way guys. But Admiral Arayuss reminded me that revenge missions is just not the Starfleet way. I don't think I would have his kind of restraint as Commander in Chief of Gamma Fleet with access to a ship like Explorer. I would already be on my way to the Mirror Universe with all the friends and family that wanted in on the destruction on those to blame for Lloyd's murder.

The Division 1 Commander saw Lt. Florenté approaching across the lounge and by the look on his face, he had been in tears as well. The Professor was a friend to him and his younger brother, PO3 Florenté. When Joey and Jamie saw each other, the brothers hugged profusely and then walked over to where the Commodore, Cmdr Delgado and Lt. Panettiere was standing. E.J. waited to hear what his Chief Flight Control Officer was going to say regarding Lloyd's murder. Lt. JG DeGrazzio made his way over as well as this was becoming a reunion of Infiniti officers to mourn the loss of their good friend, Professor Lloyd Brewer.

As Joey approached the group of Infiniti officers with his brother following, all he could think about was how Lloyd would no longer be around to offer his wisdom on things that often troubled the Lieutenant. The pilot and his brother, PO3 Florenté, considered the Professor to be their Uncle away from home. Joey was remembering how he piloted the Aerowing with Prof Brewer aboard, back when he had to bring the Professor back to SB34 during the mission to find the SS Kankakee and return it to the Starbase. How Uncle Lloyd told Joey what a great pilot he was and how the Professor couldn't wait until his nephew was the Chief Flight Control Officer of Infiniti someday. Now that Lt. Florenté was, Prof Brewer was no longer alive to see it.

Lt. Florenté: Hello Commodore, Commander, Lieutenants. I'm sure all of you feel the same way as I do and want to obliterate the people responsible for the Professor's murder. If there's going to be an operation to accomplish such a feat, you can count me in.

The Chief Flight Control Officer of Infiniti stood by the Commodore and got a well needed hug from him. Como Carpathia was truly a father figure to the Florenté Brothers, just as Prof Brewer was an Uncle to many of them. Infiniti didn't have a crew, it had a family and the Professor was part of it. So Uncle Lloyd's murder was demanding vengeance from his family of nephews. Joey just hoped Adm Arayuss would allow them the opportunity to follow through with finding those responsible for the Professor's murder and going medieval on them!

Jamie didn't have much to say, his older brother Joey said it best. If an Engineer was needed for a mission to deal some damage to the culprits who orchestrated the murder of Prof Brewer and for the mission to be a complete and utter failure, PO3 Florenté wanted in on it. All Jamie could muster was two words to the Commodore.

PO3 Florenté: Me too...

The Chief Engineer's Mate of Infiniti stood beside his brother and got his hug from Como Carpathia right after he finished hugging Joey. Now that Event Horizon was gone, Jamie was looking forward to being in Main Engineering aboard the Intrepid Class Refit that he called home. Even though PO3 Florenté was no longer a Chief Engineer, Jamie was looking forward to serving his department head as he had been doing since he came aboard Infiniti.

The Lieutenant JG was mourning the loss of his friend, Prof Brewer, with tears in his eyes. Jayden was in pain, but not from the wound in his abdomen from Jo'Kla's D'k tahg dagger. The pain was from the loss of surviving, knowing that Lt. JG DeGrazzio lost somebody that was as close to him as a wise uncle. Always there with a kind heart, an open ear and a generous soul to help whenever needed.

Lt. JG DeGrazzio: Count me in as well, Commodore. What Jo'Kla took from us may never heal like the wound he gave me in my stomach. Although, when he stabbed me in the gut with his D'k tagh dagger it really hurt, but no where near as much as taking Lloyd's life from us like he did. Commodore, we've got to find who was responsible for sending Jo'Kla into our universe and sabotaging the Event Horizon's mission. It is a moral imperative, Sir.

The Assistant Science Officer of Infiniti wiped tears from his face as he stood there with Como Carpathia, Cmdr Delgado, Lt. Florenté, Lt. Panettiere, PO3 Florenté and his friend for years, LtCmdr D'Shoua who had just joined them. By the look on Jared's face, he was furious at the murder of their Uncle Lloyd. For as long as Jayden had been friends with Jared, he had never seen him this upset. The Lieutenant JG had no doubt in his mind that LtCmdr D'Shoua would be offering to join the mission to go after the responsible party who caused them so much distraught.

Jared was steaming mad and wanted to punch out whoever let Jo'Kla murder his Uncle Lloyd and stab his best friend, Jayden, in the abdomen. Had it not been for the outstanding work of Dr. Tudismaque, Jayden would've died and he would never have been able to send the signal to Adm Arayuss so the crew of Event Horizon could be rescued. If there was going to be a team assigned with the task of taking out whoever sent Jo'Kla to do what he did, LtCmdr D'Shoua was going with them, like it or not.

Lt. Commander D'Shoua: Commodore, if there's going to be a mission to pay reparations to whoever told Jo'Kla to do what he did, I'm going with them! I don't care what I have to do to be part of it. If Jo'Kla didn't kill himself, I would choke him to death with his own entrails for what he did to Uncle Lloyd and my buddy Jayden. We must pay them back for their insurrection into our universe and putting the entire crew of Event Horizon in danger. So let it be written; so let it be done, Sir.

The Chief Sec/Tac Officer of Infiniti looked at the Commodore as he took Jared's words to heart. Coming up next was the ship's Counselor, LtCmdr Elbrun who just arrived with a look of complete horror on her face. Kestra could sense how everyone was feeling over the death of Prof Brewer and knew there would be no peace until those in the Mirror Universe who put this sadistic plan together pays for their actions with their own lives. The Marine Detachment Commander, MCpt Lopez had walked over to their little meeting with the Commodore as well. Jared was very curious to hear what Chris had to say about how he felt, especially since he was actually there when it all went down.

Kestra could sense all the determination in the members of her crew to bring harm to those responsible for the death of Prof Brewer. As the ship's Counselor, LtCmdr Elbrun knew everyone was focusing their grief on hostility which was their way of coping with the sudden news of the Professor being murdered. In Kestra's experience with Como Carpathia, he had never been the type to just lead an attack mission haphazardly. So the Counselor knew the Commodore was just speaking emotionally due to his loss.

Lt. Commander Elbrun: Please, Commodore. I know you and the others are all hurting over what happened to Professor Brewer. But launching an incursion into the Mirror Universe would only lead us into a war with them. A war that could bring us all even more losses. I appeal to your sense of logic, Sir. Think about this long and hard before doing anything rash. As a member of your crew, you know I will follow you to the ends of the universe. If you do end up going to the Mirror Universe, consider me with you, along with the others as well.

The Counselor of Infiniti knew her words might sting the hearts of the other standing around them, but Kestra finished by saying she was with them no matter what. LtCmdr Elbrun just did not want to serve aboard the instrument that served as a precursor to an all out war. Kestra did know that Infiniti did not have the capability to jump into the Mirror Universe, so that only left the CinC's vessel, USS Explorer. If a plan was to be manufactured, the Counselor knew Adm Arayuss would be the deciding factor in it's fruition.
