David was pleased LtCmdr Waters said the vibrations were normal, it relieved his concerns about Oriskany getting shaken apart. The Captain wondered if Sutherland had left SB34 yet or were they still getting ready to depart, so he verbalized an inquiry to LtCmdr Boffi on the Nebula Class vessel's location.

Capt Calzada: Mr. Boffi, can you use the rear sensors to detect if Sutherland is en route or not? I'd like to know if they're already underway.

As time went on, the vibrations the Captain was feeling in the floor seemed to become unnoticeable. They were only running 11 minutes behind Explorer and Infiniti so they would be arriving only a short time after the Intrepid Class vessels made orbit of New Bajor.

Using the rear sensors, Michaelangelo was able to detect Sutherland was indeed on it's way! The Nebula Class Starship were traveling at Warp 9.8 which meant they were roughly 25 minutes behind them. LtCmdr Boffi informed Capt Calzada of his findings immediately.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Captain, Sutherland is on their way! They're roughly twenty-five minutes behind us, traveling at Warp 9.8! That's their maximum speed, so Sutherland is coming is fast as they can!

The Chief Operations Officer continued using the rear sensors to monitor Sutherland's progress as they moved at Oriskany's maximum speed. Michaelangelo was relieved to hear the Chief Engineer's report that the vibrations were completely normal for a Sovereign Class Starship's size.

The Captain was thrilled to hear Sutherland was on their way and at 25 minutes behind Oriskany. This meant in less than 35 minutes all the vessels of Gamma Fleet would be in orbit directly above New Bajor’s capital city of New Rakantha. David knew Capt Daqtorgh had to be pleased that all the ships of the fleet were on their way to assist in the rescue of the colonists.

Capt Calzada: That’s good to hear, Mr. Boffi! We’ll all be above New Rakantha in no time at all! Can you use the forward sensor array to see how close Explorer and Infiniti are to New Bajor?

The CO waited to hear if LtCmdr Boffi could find out how soon the Intrepid Class vessels would be arriving at New Bajor. Since Oriskany was running 11 minutes behind Explorer and Infiniti, it would give Capt Calzada and estimate on how long it would be before the Sovereign Class Starship would be arriving. David was curious if Como Carpathia would be having Lt. Florenté pilot Infiniti into the system at Warp Speed and if so, could he ask the same of LtCmdr Centares?

As Michaelangelo used the forward sensor array to scan for Explorer and Infiniti, he was able to ascertain that both vessels just passed into the system and they were continuing at Warp Speed. The Lieutenant Commander took note of the course the Intrepid Class Starships traveled and forwarded it to the Flight Control Station where LtCmdr Centares could make use of it.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Yes, both Explorer and Infiniti are within the system and they're still at Warp Speed, Captain! I've copied their course trajectory and forwarded it to Lieutenant Commander Centares should you want to do the same, Sir!

The Chief Operations Officer continued to monitor his console for anything else to show on the sensors, either fore or aft. Michaelangelo also watched over the power allocation panel to make sure all was well there, which it was. LtCmdr Boffi also monitored both Intrepid Class Starships so he could notify Capt Calzada when they arrived in orbit above New Bajor.

David was glad to hear that LtCmdr Boffi already had the course Explorer and Infiniti had taken into the system to reach New Bajor at Warp Speed then forwarded it to LtCmdr Centares for him to take Oriskany in the same way. This is precisely what the CO was planning to do in order to arrive at the rendezvous as fast as possible.

Capt Calzada: Thank you, Mr. Boffi! Mr. Centares, make it so!

The Captain waited for LtCmdr Centares to acknowledge their heading so they could continue at Warp Speed to the colony on New Bajor. Not having to use the Impulse Engines to travel within the system would save a considerable amount of time. David couldn't be any happier with the crew of Oriskany, they have all been very accommodating and the Captain really appreciated them all.

LtCmdr Centares did what Capt Calzada ordered to get Oriskany to the Kotha Tremali System as fast as possible with the course supplied by LtCmdr Boffi, they would be able to use Warp Speed to enter the system and bring themselves close to New Bajor before dropping out of Warp.

Lt. Commander Centares: Aye, Captain! ETA to New Bajor is in seven minutes!

With the Oriskany moving at its maximum velocity, it would not take them long at all to reach their geosynchronous orbit above New Rakantha. Once they were within 250,000 kilometers of the planet, Ajay would drop the ship from Warp and bring Oriskany to orbit within 45 seconds. Once there, LtCmdr Centares would shut down the engines and allow them to cool off while in orbit above the capital city.

During the next several minutes, James watched as Ajay maneuvered Oriskany into the Kotha Tremali System and dropped the ship out of Warp precisely 250,000 kilometers from New Bajor. Using full Impulse power, the Sovereign Class Starship was brought to a geosynchronous orbit directly above New Rakantha within 45 seconds. Once they arrived, Cmdr Kee informed Capt Calzada of they're status.

Cmdr Kee: We're here, Captain. Anything you'd like done?

As the Commander waited to hear from Capt Calzada on what he'd like to do next, James looked at the Main Viewscreen and saw Explorer, Infiniti and Whitestar sharing the orbit with Oriskany. Using the console near the XO's seat, Cmdr Kee checked on the progress Sutherland was making towards New Bajor. With the Nebula Class Starship being just 12 minutes away, James was aware that the last time the Akira Class Starship, Intrepid Class Starships and the Sovereign Class Starship were together like this was in the Battle of Sector Epsilon. Now Sutherland was part of the fleet! The Commander couldn't wait to see what terrific plan they were all going to come up with to save those colonists down on New Bajor.

Right as the XO asked if the Captain wanted anything done, Michaelangelo saw an incoming message from Whitestar from Capt Daqtorgh. Waiting to put the image of Whitestar's Captain on the Main Viewscreen, LtCmdr Boffi announced the incoming hail from Daqtorgh.

Lt. Commander Boffi: Captain Calzada, incoming message from Captain Daqtorgh of Whitestar!

Seeing Capt Calzada motion for Michaelangelo to put the incoming message on the Main Viewscreen, the Lieutenant Commander complied.

Capt Daqtorgh: Welcome to New Bajor Captain Calzada, thank you for coming to assist. I've been informed to let you know about a CO and XO meeting aboard Whitestar, this will be when the Command Staff on board Sutherland arrives in about twelve minutes.

All eyes turned to Capt Calzada and Cmdr Kee to see their reaction to the call for a CO and XO meeting aboard Whitestar once Sutherland arrived above New Bajor. Michaelangelo really wanted to know what was happening down there on the planet and how they were going to get the colonists to safety. One thing LtCmdr Boffi knew for sure was...Adm Arayuss would devise some kind of plan to save everyone, just like the Admiral did with the Deltaurans.

After Capt Daqtorgh informed Capt Calzada about the meeting aboard Whitestar, David figured the questions he had about the situation on New Bajor would be answered there. The Captain nodded in agreement to the Klingon Captain and smiled as he spoke to Capt Daqtorgh.

Capt Calzada: Alright, Captain. James and I will see you over there in about fifteen minutes. Sound good?

The CO looked back at the Captain of Whitestar for a response to whether 15 minutes sounded good to him. As David waited, he looked towards Cmdr Kee and whispered to the XO.

Capt Calzada: Looks like we're going over to Whitestar for the meeting. Who do we leave in charge while we're away, James?

The Captain of Oriskany waited to hear a response from his XO on who to leave in charge of the Sovereign Class vessel while the 2 of them were away. Since a Second Officer wasn't listed on the crew roster, David thought it best to ask James since he knew the crew a lot better than Capt Calzada did. Whomever Cmdr Kee selected would be the Number 2 aboard the ship. That way it would be officially entered into the roster.

To James, it was a toss up between LtCmdr Centares and LtCmdr Boffi. But since Ajay was in the color of the Command Division, Cmdr Kee thought it best to select LtCmdr Centares as the Second Officer since by tradition it would fall upon the next highest ranking officer on the Bridge to take command while the CO and XO were away.

Cmdr Kee: Well Captain, according to tradition, Ajay would be next in the line to take command of the Bridge should you and I be absent. So I would choose Lieutenant Commander Centares over Lieutenant Commander Boffi at this juncture of our mission. However, Michaelangelo would qualify for the position of Third Officer. That way he would be Acting XO while you and I are over on Whitestar.

The XO hoped that supplied the information Capt Calzada was looking for. James was a good judge of character of both these officers and knew that their dedication to Starfleet's ideals were just as pure as his own. They stayed together through all the perils of the Battle of Sector Epsilon with a bond that made them all family.
