Bridge - Deck 1

Chase nodded as he heard the Captain's orders for the Commander to be in command of the Away Team to inspect the vessels that left the Kotha Tremali system prior to the quarantine. Chase also understood that choosing the Away Team was under his discretion, which he was happy about.

Cmdr Ashborn: Yes, Sir! I'll get right on that as soon as we're underway, Captain.

It was after Chase spoke to Capt Daqtorgh, that they heard the response from the Division 1 Commander.

Como Carpathia: Thank you so much, Captain Daqtorgh! You truly are an honorable man! I'll be sure to let Captain Lopez know they'll have the air support they need to make sure all the refugees get off New Bajor before Admiral Arayuss has to use the Genesis Device to wipe the Xenomorphs off the face of the planet. Thank you again, Captain! Infiniti out!

The XO remained in his chair on the Bridge and waited on the CO to respond, if he deemed it necessary, to all that have spoken to him since he informed Como Carpathia the Wildcards would be remaining behind under the command of MGen Alderez.

Now that Como Carpathia was no longer on the Main Viewscreen, Daqtorgh sat in his Center Seat between Cmdr Ashborn and Ens Garcia. While sitting there he waited on Lt. Mitchell's results to come in on the manifest. The Captain also saw that Lt. Thomas was waiting for the Captain's mark on Cmdr Cypher beaming up along with the Security Team and the location from Lt. Mitchell so he could take the ship out of their current orbit and put it on a path with the first vessel that needed to be intercepted. Daqtorgh turned to Cmdr Ashborn, seated on his right and spoke to him first, then to Ens Garcia seated on his left.

Capt Daqtorgh: Number One, when you go to the ships on your Away Mission, bring incinerating weapons, just in case you run into those Xenomorphs. Ensign, we may need you to be ready just in case of what Commander Ashborn finds on those vessels, we may have more refugees coming aboard.

The Klingon Captain relaxed in his chair and awaited on the acknowledgements from both his XO and Yeoman. It wouldn't be long before his Chief Engineer and the Security Team beamed up so Daqtorgh sent a message from the armrest console to the Transporter Chief, Mr. Osaka. That way Cmdr Cypher and the Security Officers could be transported to Whitestar without hesitation.

The Commander listened to the Captain and understood why they couldn't bring projectile weapons with them since they would be on ships in space and the armor piercing rounds may penetrate the hull, not to mention the Xenomorphs acidic blood would be even worse!

Cmdr Ashborn: Understood, Captain. We can't have those acidic creatures bleeding all over the decks and eating away at the hull of those vessels out there once we board them.

The XO looked passed the Captain at Ens Garcia, expecting the young Yeoman to respond to Capt Daqtorgh in a similar manner. If they did come across people who were trapped on a non-functioning vessel which had a Xenomorph outbreak on it, the passengers and crew would need to be transported over to Whitestar.

Luis nodded as he looked towards Capt Daqtorgh and Cmdr Ashborn and responded. The Ensign fully understood what his duty would be if more refugees came aboard Whitestar. Luis felt truly honored the Captain allowed the young Yeoman to take on tasks like this.

Ens Garcia: Okay, Sir! I'll take good care of them if my services are needed! Thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to prove myself to you and the crew, Captain.

The Yeoman sat in his chair since the Captain was sitting in his Center Seat and relax as he waited for orders to come his way. Luis was happy sitting on the Bridge beside Capt Daqtorgh and the Ensign hoped he would be there for a while yet before having to depart on a duty for the Captain.

After Cole finished collating the data for the Captain, he transferred all the information to a PADD and got up from his station and quickly walked over to where Capt Daqtorgh was sitting and held out the Personal Access Display Device for the Captain to take possession of.

Lt. Mitchell: Here you go, Captain! That's a list of all the ships that have arrived within the last thirty days and departed within the last seven. Their cargo manifests are included, along with all the passengers and crew listed aboard each vessel.

The Chief Operations Officer stood before the Captain, Commander and Yeoman and waited on Capt Daqtorgh to respond. Cole didn't want to return to his station just yet in case the CO had another assignment for the Lieutenant. While Cole stood there, he smiled at Ens Garcia who had been doing a fine job at his assignments, before looking back at the Captain and waited on him to take the PADD from the Lieutenant's hand.

Daqtorgh looked through the information on the PADD and then returned the manifest to Lt. Mitchell.

Capt Daqtorgh: Give the first vessel's coordinates to Mr. Thomas. Good work, Mr. Mitchell. Let's move on my mark, still waiting for Commander Cypher.

The Captain tapped his Combadge to inquire on how long it was going to take his Chief Engineer to return to Whitestar.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Cypher! What is your ETA please?

Daqtorgh tapped his Combadge to contact the Transporter Chief.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Transporter Room One. Mr. Osaka, when Commander Cypher is done beam him and the Security Team to the Bridge. Mr. Thomas, as soon as Commander Cypher is beamed to the Bridge please get us to the location of first vessel, best possible speed.

The CO waited on his orders to be followed as he remained in the Center Chair on the Bridge, that was right between Cmdr Ashborn on his right and Ens Garcia on the left. It was a comfortable chair in comparison to the chair on the Vor'cha Attack Cruiser that was his last command in the Klingon Defense Force. Federation ships tended to be geared towards comfort, which took some getting used to for a Klingon.

Cole took the PADD from Capt Daqtorgh and brought it over to Lt. Thomas and explained to the Chief Flight Control Officer what the Captain ordered him to do.

Lt. Thomas: Here you go, Dylan! The Captain wants you to set a course for the first vessel on this list! Make it so, dude!

The Lieutenant smiled at his close friend, Lt. Thomas, as he returned to the Ops Station and took a seat. Cole used the Long Range Sensors to scan for the first vessel on the PADD he had given to Dylan and located it. According to the transponder, it was a Luxury Star Cruiser called the Galactic Princess. It must've been on a star cruise through the Gamma Quadrant after coming through the wormhole.

Dylan took the PADD given to him by his buddy, Lt. Mitchell, and entered the coordinates for the Luxury Star Cruiser, Galactic Princess. After entering the position of the space liner, the Lieutenant let Capt Daqtorgh know Whitestar was ready to leave upon the arrival of Cmdr Cypher.

Lt. Thomas: Coordinates locked in on the Galactic Princess, Captain! We'll be ready to Warp on your mark, Sir!

The Flight Control Officer sat there at his station on the Bridge, awaiting the arrival of Cmdr Cypher and the Security Team. Once they were beamed onto the Bridge, Dylan knew the order to leave orbit would be given. The Lieutenant just wondered how wet they were going to be when the Chief Engineer and Security Personnel arrived here on the Bridge.

Exterior of ISSCV - Extraction Site - New Bajor

While Thom was putting the finishing touches on the installation of the lightning deterrent array, the Commander heard the voice of Capt Daqtorgh coming through over his Combadge requesting an ETA on the completion of the array. Tapping his Combadge, Thom replied to the Captain.

Cmdr Cypher: Cypher here! I'm putting the finishing touches on the array right now. Ensign Wilson is running a diagnostic on the software as we speak! I'll be ready to beam up in about 2 minutes, Captain! I just need to climb down off the roof of the I-Double-S-C-V safely in all this pouring rain! I am saturated to the bone, Sir!

The Chief Engineer quickly finished the installation of the array and cautiously climbed down off the top of the ISSCV. With the rain and wind, Thom was able to get off the roof without incident, which he felt good about. Breaking an ankle in this weather would've hurt for sure. Once the Commander got back inside the Inter Solar System Cargo Vehicle, Ens Wilson tossed him a towel to use to get somewhat dry.

Ens Wilson: Here you go, Sir. The software is all set up, I'm just not sure if I can properly explain to one of the Marines how to run it. It's going to need to be constantly monitored and adjusted during the return to Infiniti.

Cmdr Cypher: I talked to Captain Daqtorgh about that and he authorized you to remain with them to operate the deterrent system for them. Since Whitestar will be leaving to pursue the vessels that left before quarantine, we'll have to meet up at Starbase 34. These Marines are tough hombres, so you'll be fine Randy. Plus, the Wildcards will be remaining to provide air support, so you're in good hands.

Ens Wilson: Aye, Commander! Till we meet again aboard Starbase 34! You take care of the ship while I'm gone, Sir!

The 2 Engineers shook hands with mutual respect for each other before Thom looked outside the ISSCV where the Security Team was positioned.

Cmdr Cypher: We're done here, thanks for your support!

As the Security Team secured their weapons, they all jumped inside the ISSCV while Cmdr Cypher tapped his Combadge again.

Cmdr Cypher: Cypher to Whitestar! The Security Team and I are ready to beam out!

Seeing that the Security Team was just as wet as Cmdr Cypher was, Randy handed them all towels to they could at least dry their heads with before they dematerialized to return to the Akira Class Starship waiting above them.

Bridge - Deck 1 - USS Whitestar

Daqtorgh heared the Chief Engineer's reply and thought that perhaps a change in plans was necessary on where to beam Cmdr Cypher and the Security Officers from down in the rain soaked location of the extraction site. The Captain tapped his Combadge and called out to the Transporter Chief.

Capt Daqtorgh: Bridge to Mr. Osaka! Time to beam up Commander Cypher and the Security Team! Transport them to their quarters so the can dry off and change into dry uniforms, we don't want puddles on Bridge.

Speaking out to his Chief Flight Control Officer, Lt. Thomas, Daqtorgh gave him the order to break orbit and head for the Galactic Princess.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Thomas takes us out of orbit and prepare to intercept the Galactic Princess...Warp Four...Engage!

Daqtorgh looked over towards the Ops Station next and issued an order to Lt. Mitchell regarding contacting the Luxury Star Cruiser.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Mitchell, inform the Galactic Princess we're on our way to search their vessel for Xenomorphs.

Turning to his right, the Captain leaned over towards his XO and informed him to prepare his Away Team for immediate departure.

Capt Daqtorgh: Commander Ashborn, prepare your Away Team to board this vessel upon our arrival.

The CO sat back in the comfortable chair and waited to hear acknowledgements from everyone he had just given orders to. Plus the Captain wouldn't mind hearing from his Chief Engineer now that he was beamed aboard.
