Bridge - Deck 1

Judging from the distance Whitestar was from the Galactic Princess, Kyle knew there was no way they could utilize the Tractor Beam just yet. Plus the use of such a device at Warp was prohibited, unless the vessel was being towed. The Whitestar was going to have to match the Cruise Ship's exact speed, then use the Tractor Beam to force the Galactic Princess to drop out of Warp.

Lt. Wolf: Not yet, Captain! We need to be running parallel to the Cruise Ship to engage the Tractor Beam and knock it out of Warp, Sir. Starfleet does not have any Tractor Beams that can engage a ship at this distance from it, Captain. I'll let you know when Whitestar is close enough to use it, Sir.

The Chief Sec/Tac Officer already had the Tractor Beam standing by, they just had about 9 minutes to go before Lt. Thomas would decelerate Whitestar to match the velocity of the Galactic Princess. Only then could Kyle engage the device which would destabilize the Warp field of the Cruise Ship and drop it down to a sub-light speed. Making it a lot easier to send over the Away Team to check out what is going on over there!

Cole did as Capt Daqtorgh ordered and began scanning the Galactic Princess for life forms and seeing if the numbers matched the ship's manifest. Also checking for any dignitaries aboard as well. Once the Lieutenant had all the information available, Cole let the Captain know of his findings.

Lt. Mitchell: Captain, there are numerous life signs aboard the Galactic Princess, scanners show five hundred and fifty seven people, whereas the manifest shows there should be seven hundred and eleven passengers and crew! Something must've happened to a hundred and fifty four people! We still haven't received a transmission back from the Cruise Ship and their Bridge seems to be deserted! Sensors indicate the bulk amount of the people aboard are in the mezzanine section of the Galactic Princess. My guess is that they've sealed themselves there to avoid the Xenomorphs!

The Chief Operations Officer continued to run the sensors on the Cruise Ship as they rapidly approached. Specifically looking for any silicon based life forms Cole could detect. Finding them aboard most ships was increasingly difficult because their bodies were made of the same substance as most of the interior construction of the vessels were. If the Lieutenant discovered anything, informing Capt Daqtorgh was his first priority.

Hearing the report from Lt. Mitchell, the Captain tapped his Combadge to inform his XO of what they knew so far about the Galactic Princess.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Ashborn! Be aware they are missing one hundred and fifty four passengers and crew! The other five hundred fifty seven life signs are coming from the mezzanine section of the Cruise Ship! No response from their Bridge, it's like it was abandoned!

The Captain looked over towards Lt. Mitchell and gave him a new order...

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Mitchell, open a hailing frequency to Commodore Carpathia aboard Infiniti.

Daqtorgh was still standing, so he turned towards Lt. Wolf next.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Wolf, when we get to the Cruise Ship and we are at the same speed, engage the Tractor Beam and knock the Princess out of Warp!

Now that the orders were given, the CO looked around at all the competent officers on the Bridge, including Ens Garcia. Even though the Yeoman was not aboard Whitestar during the command of Capt Adonis, Daqtorgh knew the young Ensign would have fit right in with the rest of the Bridge crew even then. The Captain was pleased to have such an efficient crew under his command and thought about ways to show them his appreciation when they returned to SB34.

Transporter Room 1 - Deck 4

Chase heard the voice of Capt Daqtorgh over his Combadge and wondered how the 154 missing passengers and crew were doing. Plus the Commander wondered if they were already cocooned to make more Xenomorphs. This could possibly mean they'll be dealing with over 150 of those horrible creatures when they beam aboard. The XO tapped his Combadge in order to respond to the Captain on Whitestar's Bridge.

Cmdr Ashborn: Ashborn here! I don't know if we should beam over to their Bridge just yet, Captain! It could be crawling with those beasts! I suggest the Away Team beams directly to the mezzanine to speak with those who sealed themselves in there, Sir!

The XO was getting worried a little, hoping they weren't going to be beaming into a nest aboard the Bridge of the Galactic Princess. Chase hoped beyond hope, Capt Daqtorgh wasn't going to send them to the Command Deck of the Cruise Ship. The Commander wanted to come back alive, along with the rest of the Away Team, but the XO felt the Captain was wise enough to take Cmdr Ashborn's suggestion.

Bridge - Deck 1

Cole did as the Captain ordered and used the Communications Panel on his Console to open a hailing frequency to the USS Infiniti and marked it for Como Carpathia's eyes only, just in case Capt Daqtorgh wanted to speak to the Commodore without his Bridge crew listening in.

Lt. Mitchell: Hailing frequency open, Captain! I marked it private it case you didn't want the conversation heard by everyone on Infiniti's Bridge, Sir! That way the Commodore will take it in his Ready Room!

The Chief Operations Officer waited on Infiniti to signal they were ready to receive Capt Daqtorgh's message to Como Carpathia. Cole knew it would only take a few moments for the Division 1 Commander to get into his Ready Room so he could converse with Whitestar's Captain. The Lieutenant also monitored the Galactic Princess for any changes to the number of people in the mezzanine area. Cole thought Cmdr Ashborn's suggestion was quite valid, in regard to not beaming onto the Cruise Ship's Command Deck.

Kyle heard the Captain instruct him to engage the Tractor Beam to knock the Galactic Princess out of Warp so it could be boarded by Cmdr Ashborn and his Away Team. The Lieutenant responded to his CO that he fully understood the plan.

Lt. Wolf: Aye, Captain! As soon as we're parallel with the Cruise Ship, I'll engage the Tractor Beam to knock them right out of Warp, Sir!

The Chief Sec/Tac Officer continued to wait for Whitestar to decelerate down to Warp 2 so they would be able to move alongside the Luxury Star Cruiser and do what was necessary to drop the vessel from Warp. It wouldn't be long now so all Kyle had to do was wait for Capt Daqtorgh to order him to engage Whitestar's Tractor Beam once the Galactic Princess was intercepted.

The Captain looked towards the Flight Control Station after hearing Lt. Mitchell tell Daqtorgh that the Lieutenant hailed Infiniti and Como Carpathia was alerted to be ready for a private conversation with the CO of Whitestar.

Capt Daqtorgh: Mr. Thomas, when we're close to the Galactic Princess drop us down to Warp Two for interception. Yellow alert, while we're running parallel to the Cruise Ship!

Tapping his Combadge, Daqtorgh responded to his XO in Transporter Room One regarding his idea of the Away Team beaming to the mezzanine area.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Ashborn! That is a great suggestion, Number One! Beam the Away Team to the mezzanine and talk to the people sealed up in there. Find out what's going on. I'll let you know when to beam over and the coordinates to use. Bridge out!

The Captain tapped his Combadge once more to inform the Chief Engineer that he was needed on the Bridge.

Capt Daqtorgh: Daqtorgh to Commander Cypher! Come to the Bridge, please!

The CO walked to the Ready Room to have his private conversation with Como Carpathia. Upon entering Daqtorgh sat behind his desk and waited to hear from the Commodore aboard the Infiniti. The Captain left instructions for Cmdr Cypher to take care of the Bridge while the CO was in his Ready Room on the PADD Daqtorgh left by the Center Chair. That way there was an officer of Command rank in charge while the Captain was busy, since Cmdr Ashborn and Cmdr Skonch were in Transporter Room 1, waiting to depart Whitestar.

Dylan understood what Capt Daqtorgh wanted the Lieutenant to do with Whitestar and was planning on making it so!

Lt. Thomas: I'll make it so, Captain!

The Chief Flight Control Officer waited on the 7 minutes to pass by so he could drop their velocity down to Warp 2 and stay on a parallel course with the Galactic Princess. That way Lt. Wolf could engage the Tractor Beam and knock the Cruise Ship right out of Warp Speed. Dylan had to be ready to drop out of Warp completely for Whitestar once the Tractor Beam was used.

Main Engineering - Deck 15

Thom was going over the Main Systems Display at the rear of Main Engineering when he heard the call from Capt Daqtorgh. Hearing that the Chief Engineer was to report to the Bridge, got the Commander somewhat curious as to why he would be called up to the Command Deck. But, be that as it may, Thom left Main Engineering and got himself to a Turbolift. Arriving on the Bridge, Thom walked out, expecting to see Capt Daqtorgh and Cmdr Ashborn on the Bridge, perhaps even Cmdr Skonch as well. But to the Commander's surprise, none of the three were in attendance. Walking down to where the Captain would be sitting, Thom found a PADD displaying Commander Thomas R. Cypher, please read. Picking up the Personal Access Display Device, Thom read it. It informed the Commander, Capt Daqtorgh was in his Ready Room, Cmdr Ashborn was about to beam over to the Galactic Princess, along with Cmdr Skonch and that Thom was to command the Bridge until the Captain returned. Speaking aloud for all to hear on the Command Deck, the Chief Engineer accepted his role as 3rd Officer of the USS Whitestar.

Cmdr Cypher: Looks like I'm in charge while the Captain is busy in his Ready Room.

The 3rd Officer took a seat in the CO's Chair and looked over the display on the Main Viewscreen and watched the stars streak by. According to the log, Capt Daqtorgh left, they were under 7 minutes from the Cruise Ship. If the Captain was still busy in his Ready Room, Cmdr Cypher would have to supply Cmdr Ashborn with the beam in coordinates to the Mezzanine area of the Galactic Princess. Thom considered himself lucky he did not encounter any Xenomorphs while he was affixing the lightning deterrent array on the top of the ISSCV, back at the extraction site on New Bajor. So the Chief Engineer wished the same for Cmdr Ashborn, Cmdr Skonch, Dr. Tudismaque, Lt. JG Syntranos and his Security Personnel.

As Daqtorgh sat at his desk in the Ready Room he finally saw the image of Como Carpathia appear before him on his terminal.

Como Carpathia: This is Commodore E.J. Carpathia of the USS Infiniti, how may I help you Captain Daqtorgh?

Capt Daqtorgh: Hello, Sir. We have a dilemma, there are five hundred and fifty-seven passengers and crew locked in the mezzanine level of the Galactic Princess. According to the manifest there's a hundred fifty-four passengers and or crew missing. Scans say the Bridge is empty of lifeforms. I have an Away Team ready to beam over to the Cruise Ship's mezzanine level. This is just the current update on the situation. We will also be slowing our speed to Warp Two so we can be parallel to the Galactic Princess. We're about seven minutes from using our Tractor Beam to knock it out of Warp and board it, since all of our hails have gone unanswered and the ship is still moving at Warp Two. This is an update that we're going to need more backup if we have to evacuate the five hundred fifty-seven passengers and crew.

The CO of Whitestar waited to hear what the CO of the USS Infiniti had to say. The Commodore was a man Daqtorgh truly respected, which was why he knew to ask Como Carpathia's advice as well as provide an update on their current situation. The Captain knew that he could probably fit all of the evacuees onto Whitestar, but it would be a tight squeeze and an uncomfortable return flight back to SB34.
