ISSCV Interior - Extraction Site - New Bajor

As Chris was getting the sensor readouts from the 58th Squadron which showed there was no Xenomorph activity in the area, he saw the message from LtCmdr Boffi, the Chief Ops/Com Officer aboard Oriskany. Looking over towards the Transporter Enhancers, the Marine Captain could see the next group of 40 children were standing there in the rain, waiting to be transported up to the Sovereign Class Starship. Returning back to the console in the ISSCV, Chris sent a message back to LtCmdr Boffi which indicated the next group were wet and ready for beam out. Once the message was sent, the Marine Captain addressed the children that were about to be transported up to the ship waiting in orbit.
MCpt Lopez:
Okay, it's time for you guys to beam up to Oriskany! It's warm and dry up there, and you will all get something good to eat and can relax in the safety of a Sovereign Class Starship! Just hang tight, I just confirmed you're all ready, so you should be transporting any second!
The Marine Detachment Commander waited in the doorway of the ISSCV for the child refugees to beam up to the Starship in orbit above them. Chris wished the ISSCV came with more than 3 Transporter Enhancers, so they wouldn't be limited to just 40 people at a time to beam up. This was going to take quite some time at this rate and MCpt Lopez was getting worried the 58th Squadron would be detecting a mass of Xenomorphs coming to steal the children away so they could turn them into victims of the embryo system back in the power facility in New Rakantha. _________________

As the 1st Lieutenant watched the children beam up to Oriskany with MCpt Lopez, Tony heard a message tone from the Com Station. Walking over to read the message, 1Lt. Parra saw what the message entailed and immediately went out to where the Transporter Enhancers were and informed the children to stand clear, that more enhancing devices were beaming down so more refugees could beam up! Once the children were clear, Tony let MCpt Lopez know they were ready down here for the items coming down from Oriskany.
1Lt. Parra:
Captain Lopez, I've cleared the area for Oriskany to beam down more Transporter Enhancers so we can beam up more child refugees to their ship, and the others, once they've reached their maximum occupancy.
The Deputy Detachment Commander returned to the inside of the ISSCV and informed Oriskany's Chief Ops/Com Officer, LtCmdr Boffi, that the extraction site was ready to receive the Transporter Enhancers. Once they arrived, the 1st Lieutenant would start setting them up with the assistance of LCpl Hudson since he was their enlisted technician on the scene. If for some reason they needed more assistance setting up the enhancers, Tony was sure the Engineer on loan from Whitestar would be glad to help out as well. _________________

The Commodore turned towards the rear of the Bridge and informed LtCmdr Trylon to put the Vice Admiral on the Main Viewscreen here on the Command Deck. Since the communication wasn't flagged as private, E.J. saw no need to take the call in his Ready Room.
Como Carpathia:
Go ahead and put the Vice Admiral up on the Main Viewscreen, William. Since it's not flagged as private, there's no reason for me to chat with him in my Ready Room.
In a few moments, on the Main Viewscreen, appeared the Chief of Fleet Operations, sitting in the Captain's Chair on the Bridge of the USS Sutherland. From the years the Commodore has known VAdm Martinelli, E.J. had never seen Tony look so worried. Standing in front of the CO's Chair, Como Carpathia waited on the Vice Admiral to speak.
VAdm Martinelli:
Vice Admiral Martinelli to Infiniti and Oriskany. There's a horde of Xenomoprhs rapidly approaching the extraction site, so we'll need to move quickly if we're going to save all of those children on the surface. Captain Calzada, as soon as your finished beaming up the last of the refugees your ship can handle, inform Commodore Carpathia so they can begin the atmospheric penetration process of getting down there and beaming up as many of the pre-screened refugees as they can. Eureka will be doing the same, as well as Sutherland, when the time comes. The Wildcards will be protecting the extraction site as best they can, so in the event Xenomorphs get by them, the Marines at the site itself will engage the infernal beasts. If there's any refugees leftover, Admiral Arayuss will pick them up with Explorer. Once all the children are safe, we're to leave the system as soon as possible and head for Starbase 34. Explorer will remain behind to use the Genesis Device and depart before it detonates. We can do this if we all work together, so let's get to it! That is all! Sutherland out!
The image of the Vice Admiral on the Bridge of Sutherland vanished from the Main Viewscreen, leaving the image of their position above New Bajor on the screen. This was truly an emergency situation, and E.J. began issuing an order to the XO that was present on the Bridge.
Como Carpathia:
Aléjandro, prepare Infiniti for BLUE ALERT! We'll be going into the atmosphere so we can get those refugees off the extraction site as soon as possible. I want to be able to bring up as many as we can, make it so, Number One!
The CO looked at Cmdr Delgado and waited for him to take action and prepare Infiniti to enter the atmosphere of New Bajor. Even with the storms going on because of the defective weather control system, Infiniti was capable of landing on a planet's surface. But in this instance, they wouldn't be coming to a complete landing due to the Xenomorph threat. The Intrepid Class Starship would only need to hover above the extraction site and beam up as many refugees that had already been checked by Dr. Sarrlak and his medical team. E.J. did not want to take the chance of another Xenomorph getting aboard Infiniti and having his Yeoman chasing it into the Jeffries Tubes throughout the ship and having to flush it out into space through the Impulse Exhaust Manifold. The Commodore and those involved felt it was a once in a lifetime horror that didn't need to be repeated a second time. _________________

While at the Master Systems Display Console, Jamie heard Cmdr Delgado over his Combadge so the Chief Petty Officer tapped his badge in order to respond to the Executive Officer.
CPO Florenté:
Understood, Commander! We'll be ready down here in Engineering for atmospheric insertion in a matter of moments!
Turning towards Cwmn Flores, Jamie instructed him to follow through what Cmdr Delgado had ordered.
CPO Florenté:
Aiden, take the Warp Core offline and vent all plasma from the nacelles! I'll transfer all available power to the atmospheric thrusters! Let's get moving, Crewman!
Doing what Jamie did best, the Chief Petty Officer routed all the available power using the Master Systems Display Console. While that was going on, Cwmn Flores took the Warp Core offline and began venting all the plasma from the nacelles. It wasn't long at all before Infiniti was ready to enter the atmosphere of New Bajor and descend to the extraction site. Calling out to Cmdr Delgado who was still on the Chief Engineer's Combadge, Jamie let the XO know Engineering was standing by at CODE BLUE.
CPO Florenté:
Commander, Engineering is standing by at CODE BLUE! Warp Core is offline and plasma has been vented from the nacelles. Full power is available for the atmospheric thrusters, Sir!
The young Chief Engineer waited on a response from the Bridge, since they've been informed of the Engineering team being completely ready for the ship to go into the atmosphere, the next steps would need to be handled on the Command Deck. Jamie loved being aboard this Intrepid Class Starship, there was just never a dull moment when it came to becoming a member of Infiniti's crew. _________________
