Now that Ens Toretto was monitoring the communications, she immediately noticed that a message came in from Infiniti for MGen Alderez regarding the retrieval of the 58th Squadron from the planet below them. As Mia assisted with the transporting of the refugees up from the surface from the extraction site, the Ensign also forwarded the message from LtCmdr Trylon to the Major General. As the message was forwarded, Mia called it out to VAdm Martinelli and MGen Alderez.

Ens Toretto: Admiral, we're receiving refugees now and I just received a message from Infiniti and forwarded it to General Alderez. It concerns the retrieval of the Wildcards back to Sutherland.

Rex looked at the message from Infiniti and immediately called down to MCpt Vansen, who was the Wing Commander of the 58th Squadron.

MGen Alderez: Captain Vansen, this is Major General Rex Alderez aboard Sutherland! It's time for retrieval, cease fire and dock in the Starfighter Hanger as soon as possible. You've done a great job down there and it's time to come back with us to Starbase 34 where you'll be reunited with Whitestar. Alderez out.

The Major General continued using the Mission Ops Orientation board at the rear of the Bridge so Rex could monitor the approach of the Wildcards to the hanger that was designed for the SA-43X's when Sutherland went on the first mission in the Gamma Quadrant.

The Ensign reported to the Vice Admiral that all the refugees that were being transported to Sutherland was off the surface and now in the designated places aboard the Nebula Class vessel.

Ens Toretto: Admiral Martinelli, we've got our allotment of refugees aboard Sutherland now, recommend we move to an upper orbit with Oriskany and Eureka once the Wildcards have docked in the landing bay.

With everything well in hand, MGen Alderez continued monitoring the Hammerheads making their way up in the atmosphere where they would soon be in space where they could maneuver their way to the flight deck of the Starfighter Landing Bay of the USS Sutherland.

While the Marine Captain fired the armor piercing rounds of ammunition at the Xenomorphs climbing over the ridge of rocks, along with the other pilots, Shane heard the orders from MGen Alderez. Tapping the Com Channel button in the cockpit, MCpt Vansen contacted the other members of the Wildcards and passed on the Major General's orders.

MCpt Vansen: Attention Wildcards! General Alderez has ordered us to disengage weapons and ascend to the USS Sutherland immediately! Let's get out of this hell hole!

Cutting off the weapons, Shane raised her SA-43X to a higher altitude and was joined by the other members of the 58th Squadron. As a group, the Wildcards left the atmosphere and made their way to the aft section of the USS Sutherland and carefully landed their Hammerheads on the Flight Deck. Once Shane saw that everyone in the Squadron was secure and exiting their SA-43X's, the Marine Captain called up to the Bridge.

MCpt Vansen: Captain Vansen to the Bridge! We've secured a safe landing on the Flight Deck! We'll be heading to our temporary barracks to get cleaned up for now! We're all a bit sweaty after dealing with this bug hunt!

Shane exited her SA-43X and motioned for the other pilots to follow her to the barracks they had been assigned on their first mission in the Gamma Quadrant on the USS Sutherland. That's where they cleaned themselves up and got changed into clean duty uniforms. MCpt Vansen knew MGen Alderez would want a report, but instead of rushing up to the Bridge at this moment, Shane decided to wait for Sutherland to be underway to SB34 before going up to the Bridge to speak with the Major General.

Tony was pleased to hear that the 58th Squadron landed safely on the Flight Deck of Sutherland. The Vice Admiral knew he would get to hear how everything went for the Wildcards once MCpt Vansen reported to MGen Alderez. As VAdm Martinelli was wondering about Adm Arayuss aboard Explorer, the Chief Operations Officer suddenly called out!

Ens Toretto: Admiral, we got an incoming message from Admiral Arayuss! I'll put it on main audio now!

Switching the audio message to the main speaker system, Mia made it so everyone on the Bridge could hear what the CinC had to say.

Adm Arayuss: This is Admiral Arayuss, I'm heading down to a lower altitude here aboard Explorer to place the Genesis Device where the Xenomorphs cannot meddle with it. I've been looking for an isolated area where there is nothing around and I have located a few prospects. Since the Genesis Wave would be planet wide, I can even choose a location in the polar regions. Be that as it may, this is the news you've all been waiting for...make way for Starbase 34, best possible speed! Arayuss out.

After the channel closed, Chief of Fleet Operations gave Lt. O'Connor the order he knew the Chief Flight Control Officer had been waiting for.

VAdm Martinelli: Mr. O'Connor, set course for Starbase 34, Warp Eight, Let's go!

The Lieutenant set the course for SB34 and engaged the Warp drive as the Vice Admiral had indicated. Brian was thrilled to be finally away from the dangers of New Bajor and the effects of the Genesis Device.

Lt. O'Connor: Course set for Starbase 34, Warp Eight, Sir!

Sutherland jumped to Warp Speed, leaving the other vessels of the fleet still in a high orbit above New Bajor. It wouldn't be long before the Nebula Class vessel would be docking inside SB34 and the Vice Admiral could return to his duties aboard the Starbase. Tony felt a sigh of relief coming from the officers on the Bridge now that they were finally on their way out of the system. This was one hell of an adventure for a crew put together at the last minute to assist the USS Whitestar in evacuating the children off New Bajor.

While Mike maintained a close watch on New Bajor, the first thing he noticed was an energy wave that the computer did not recognize. That had to be the Genesis Device's commitment to detonation building up. The Lieutenant Commander immediately used the Long Range Sensor Palette to scan for the USS Explorer, that way he could verify the Admiral was on his way back to SB34 as well. However, there was no sign of Explorer, which Mike found startling! LtCmdr Joffee immediately informed VAdm Martinelli of what was going on back on New Bajor.

Lt. Commander Joffee: Admiral Martinelli! It looks like Admiral Arayuss has committed the Genesis Device to detonate in the northern polar region of New Bajor, however...I cannot detect Explorer anywhere in the vicinity! Even if the Admiral landed his vessel, I should still be able to detect it on the Long Range Sensors!

The Chief Science Officer waited on VAdm Martinelli to issue an order or something to help Mike understand what was going on. LtCmdr Joffee really liked Adm Arayuss and was hoping nothing bad happened to the CinC. Mike knew that if Adm Arayuss lost his life in the process of detonating the Genesis Device, he would be terribly missed by quite a lot of members of Gamma Fleet.
